★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where do i start. Drunken chicken. Taste legit. But the meat was abit dry. Probably because the slices were 1cm think.
Chili wonton skin was so thick that it was probably made by a cook wearing welding gloves.
Homemade barley also can go wrong. Barley beans plus water. Think they forgot sugar.
Wont come again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was served promptly. The dumpling skin was too thick which made us full really quickly. The drunken chicken was quite disappointing. Portion was big but the meat didn’t taste fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both the Xiao Long Bao & the Sheng Jian bao had slightly thicker skin. But the savior of the dishes was it’s flavorful meat & the soup content. Simply delicious. The braised duck was also very good. However it’s not the usual braised duck you find in coffee shop. This has a deeper flavor & a tougher texture. Similar to the canned narcissus spiced pork cubes.
Do note they do not serve hot drinks. Service was prompt & polite. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only the shen jian bao is nice. It can’t really compare to what you can get from Shanghai, but still tastes pretty good. The xiaolongbao is not too bad either. The drunken chicken is quite fragrant, but way too salty. Fried rice is a complete fail, no wokhey taste at all. The hong you chao shou just tastes weird…the meat inside is so dense the taste and texture is like frozen meatballs. Overall a very average experience. Won’t go back again. I think the only reason why they are getting so many 5 star reviews is because they give a free dessert for a 5 star review

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小笼包 skin is thin & nice. 生煎包 skin is a bit hard when hot but is soft & juicy when cold. Noodle soup is a bit tasteless & dry mushroom noodle is a bit salty. Dried prawn noodle is nicer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service! The staff offered me a chair while waiting upon seeing that I was pregnant. Ushered me to my seat while my husband is making the order and payment at the counter. The staff even went the extra mile to pull the table for me so that it is easier for me to move in.
The 生煎包 is really their specialty and it is served hot and generous with the fillings. Preferred the one with prawn filling and it taste v 鲜.
The noodles are chewy, fried rice is nice but nothing wow. The skin of the 红油抄手 is tad too thick for our liking.
Will be back for their 生煎包 and good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happened to pass by and decided to try.
The noodles was good, though a bit salty to my taste, the dried shrimp added some punch.
The signature dish, 生煎包,unfortunately is only average. But considering the price, I would say the quality is reasonable.
Service is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two stars is slightly harsh. But the 小笼包 and 生煎包were the only 2 'acceptable' items.
Fried rice was not fried on order, but warmed by microwave before serving - and the pork chop that came with it was tough and dry. Braised duck was disappointing and sauce a tad too sweet. The 辣肉面 was pathetic, the meat tasted like those from a can. Poached vegetables was exactly what it is (ordered it for the roughage).
I remembered how this place was once crowded/ popular... makes me wonder what happened.
