β β β β β I have been availing myself of the services at Dover Clinic for over 10 years.
I have found the doctor in charge most helpful and always willing to discuss and explain all the issues i bring to him, and what is rare in many doctors never talks down to a patient as if they are too simple to understand. I find that refreshing. Over the years i have gotten to know the front desk ladies and they too always are happy to be of help and address my needs.

β β β β β My family and I Have been seeing Doctors from this clinic for last 15years. They are Careful and experienced in their diagnosis and willing to help us. I have also personally seen Doctors who didnβt charge some of our Elderly Patients from Dover Community as they have no family and too poor to pay any medical bills. I am also grateful to Front Desk Ladies as they are also very careful in dispensing medication to me because I have a lot of drug allergy. On behalf of my family, I say Big βThank youβ to All Doctors and Staff of Dover Clinic for you and your service to Dover Community. God Bless You All.

β β β β β Visited this clinic in the past month. Nothing wrong with the clinic but had an extremely bad experience with Dr "Chin Yoong Chai". He starts off asking non-medical related questions that are totally irrelevant. Understand that it is reasonable that doctors ask about your occupation but he starts off in an interrogating manner, asks for the name of your company and details of the exact job that you do. He was looking at his computer screen, distracted the whole time. The diagnosis was not professional at all and left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. I happened to speak to a neighbour about this and found out that he is known for asking unnecessary questions in an unprofessional manner, and giving illogical or ridiculous diagnosis, and even overcharging because he knows you can claim from your company insurance. Advice is to visit another clinic with a Doctor that you can trust and is professional at the very least.

β β β β β So I found them on the list of CHAS website and called up to check on a sponsored screening. The nurse vaguely told me to register online, an unknown form she couldn't name either, and said the clinic was not a CHAS clinic. Fortunately I found another clinic nearby and just took my case in, without any weird excuse. All I needed to do was to present the pink IC.
To the clinic owner, if you want to enjoy the publicity being listed on the gov schemes, training your nurses is the basic.

β β β β β Dr chai is extremely responsible, friendly, caring and funny. He treats my whole family well. He knows what he can handle and he is fast and efficient, while still being friendly and complete. He refers on when he needs to. A+. One of his front desk people speaks all four of Singaporeβs official languages impressive.

β β β β β I do not normally write reviews but my experience at this clinic was the worst by far. The receptionists were the rudest people I have ever met. They did not even bother to explain a thing about what is going on and telling me to come and go off with the most irritated tone, almost yelling. Asked a question to them and they never answered and just told me to wait. One of them called me the next day for my ultrasound appointment, was so rude once again. Just hung up on me while I was still talking. If they were busy, I would understand but I was the first patient after their dinner break and only had three other patients waiting. Just straight up rude and irritated people.

β β β β β Horrible clinic with unprofessional and incompetent staff. Donβt even deserve one star. Doctor is rude and not helpful. I went to seek medical help for skin abrasions from a fall and needed a memo for my claim. He had stocks ananlysis, YouTube and Netflix on his computer screen during the consultation.
When I got my medication, there was no memo so the staff went to ask the doctor. I was summoned back into the room and I was asked βwhat do you wantβ. I explained that I needed a memo for my claim again and he said ok.
While waiting for the memo, the staff told me it is an extra $30. That was a surprise to me as the doctor did not explain the extra charges for a memo to explain that my injury was from an accident. So I asked for a short description of the injury to be written on my receipt.
Also I just found out from friends that it is very common to get the wrong diagnosis and medication and they got more sick from taking the wrong medication.

β β β β β Everything is good. Just one complain, the patients need to be considerate. I was not in a condition to sit because I was pukish and I could hear patient chit chatting with the doctor inside and laughing. People need to understand that nobody comes there for fun, its because someone isn't okay and they need to see doctor asap. At least the receptionist needs to make sure the patient is out of cabin if its a chit chat and there is someone in queue who needs to see doctor desperately!
