Dr Lee was helpful and professional, he made an effort to ask questions about my past medical history before making a thorough diagnosis and addressed all my concerns patiently. He even taught me some simple exercises that I can do to aid in recovery. He is definitely straightforward with his advice and doesn't beat around the bush. I feel that he is a trustworthy doctor who genuinely cares about his patients condition and recovery. The staff there are also very friendly and helpful, thank you dr Lee and team!

Competent Senior Hand Surgeon and Caring Nurses. Needed a 2nd opinion for my injury. Dr Lee came highly recommended from friends. Called the clinic and they quickly slot me in for an appointment immediately on the same day due to the urgency of my condition. Dr Lee was very professional and communicated well in explaining what needed to be done. The nurses were also helpful and efficient in getting my insurance arranged for surgery. I am recovering well and I am glad that I saw Dr Lee!

I decided to visit Dr Jonathan Lee for a wrist injury after having read his pretty impressive bio on the AIA panel website. My experience with him was equally impressive I must say. Impressively DISAPPOINTING. I regret not reading the Google reviews before visiting the clinic because my experience was similar to some fellow patients who shared their thoughts here. To sum up in 3 points - I felt that Dr Lee was arrogant, had a complete lack of empathy, and to top it off, condescending. The only saving grace were the nurses who were relatively nice. My disappointment came in 2 parts. 1. The Wait I initially scheduled an appointment at the next available Saturday, but called a week early to check if they could slot me in on a weekday because my wrist was hurting a tad bit too much. I was asked to come down on that very day for an appointment at 12:15pm during lunch as that was the only time I could spare. I was told that there may be some waiting time and I was ok with that. Granted, I was 7 minutes late due to a meeting that overran and arrived at the appointment at 12.23pm. However I only saw Dr Lee past 1pm. I did not see any patients walking out during my time waiting and when I checked on how long more I had to wait, I was told that he was having a β€œquick lunch”. Sure. We are all humans, we need to have lunch. So did I but I rushed down from work because you told me that you could accommodate me at 12:15pm, but I was not expecting to wait while you had your lunch. If I had known that I could only see the doctor at 1pm, I would have not agreed to the appointment. The commute from the north east to town was already 20 minutes each way. 2. The Consultation I walked in the room and greeted him with a good afternoon doctor. No response to my greeting. Only a cold, off putting β€œwhat’s your issue”. Followed by me describing my condition and him just writing everything down and diagnosing me with a strain on my wrist. He then went ahead to say that he was certain of his diagnosis but if I wanted to confirm, I can do an MRI scan. Mind you, it is not the mri-scan-just-in-case-to-confirm-your-hand-condition tone, but the i-tell-you-its-this-but-if-you-dont-believe-me-you-can-do-mri tone. And when I asked if I needed to come back for a follow up consultation, he answered with a condescending β€œI don’t think you understand what I’ve been saying”. Cmon you said that you were certain of your diagnosis till I had the impression that I won’t need to see you anymore, hence my question. That response was unnecessarily rude. At that point of time, both my partner and I were so shocked by his response that we did not have the heart to continue with the consultation anymore. I just agreed to the MRI scan, bought the splint that he prescribed me and went off with no intention of coming back. I cancelled my follow up appointment after my MRI and made an appointment with another clinic to review my scans. When I called to cancel, no questions asked - just an ok with no concern for my reason for cancelling. So yes, that sums up my experience with Dr Jonathan Lee. He may have been having a bad day with back to back appointments, but the least he could do was to show the compassion and basic respect that every doctor should have. Will never go back and strongly do not recommend. P.S. His clinic also doubles up as an aesthetic clinic so his time I assume is divided across. Not sure which he specialises more in.

I recommend everyone to go to Dr Lee's clinic if you have any problems with your hands, wrists, fingers etc. Just a read of his website will already reassure you and a visit will cement your confidence. I went to Dr Lee's clinic for a second opinion because I was still worried 4 weeks after an operation on my thumb. I was very relieved to get answers to the questions I could not adequately get addressed previously. The pre-consultation review helped me see how I could be helped in different ways. Dr Lee himself is calm, clear and focused which is very reassuring. The staff are super friendly and professional. I am very grateful I decided to get the second opinion. It has made a world of difference. Thank you Dr Lee and your team.

My research led me to Dr. Jonathan Lee to treat my swollen left mid finger. I’m not surprised of the outcome, as he is the best as the review says, and I confirmed it. The staff were so accomodating as well. Thank you! Highly recommended.

Dr Lee is a wonderful doctor and his team is ever so lovely! Highly recommend this hand specialist surgeon if you are looking for a credible, sincere and skilful doctor who is good at what he does. I was diagnosed with trigger finger, aka the β€œpopping finger”, and I was initially really afraid to go under the knife as this would be my first surgery. I discussed my concerns with Dr Lee and he was very patient and thorough in helping me to understand the pros and cons of having the surgery done now vs starting with conservative treatment. I was assured with his expertise and felt confident that I am in the right hands. His most lovely team was also most helpful in going the extra mile trying painstakingly to coordinate the necessary with my insurance company to ensure that I can get the op done asap once I made the decision to go ahead with it. It had been a good couple of months post surgery, I am glad to say that my finger is finally fully functional and the scar can barely be seen! Thank you Doctor and your team! I am really glad that I found you on google search!

Visited Dr Jonathan as I had a tumour in my ring finger. Dr Jonathan and his staff were extremely patient and helpful. They attended to me attentively and made sure I achieved what I wanted. I was 101% satisfied with the outcome of the surgery. Not to mention, through the entire healing process, it was 99% pain free. Special mention to the nurses who were always there when I had a query. Thank you! If you need help with anything related to your hands, this is the place to go to. Highly recommended!

In mid-February 2022 I have a bacterial infection on my right-hand last finger, and it was extremely painful and swollen. Visited my usual family clinic and A&E of a hospital on medication of antibiotic pills and cream, after 8 days still no sign of improvement. Got Dr Johnathan Lee contact via a friend recommendation from a group of doctors for a day surgery treatment and recovered. Dr Lee and his team are very caring and professional, they detailed the situation with the finger diagram and explained what the best possible way of recovering. During the number of follow up treatment for cleaning the wounds and dressing, the nursing team were extremely careful with their action to avoid any possible painful experience by the patient, the healing touch is gentle. It was a great fortunate to have Dr Johnathan Lee and his caring team for my speedy recovery treatment. Thank you and apperciate them. Best Regards, Tie Boon Ping, 25 March 2022.
