Dr Kelvin Chua is the kindest, gentlest dentist who also takes his time to explain things and then performs the procedures impeccably. I’m usually quite afraid of all things dental and he’s the first dentist I don’t fret going to!

I was referred to Dr Kelvin to get some fillings replaced and must say the recommendation was a true God-sent. I am a patient who is super afraid of pain ( who likes getting their teeth drilled right?) and due to a medical condition I need them replaced more often than the average person. A visit to the dentist is incredibly stressful and can often make me break out in cold sweat. When starting my procedure, Dr Kelvin took his time to apply numbing cream/injection etc unlike other dentists who tend to rush it to get it over and done with which can cause it to hurt. During the procedure he would explain to me what was going on or check on how I was doing. I was pleasantly surprised that it was so calming and pain- free that I didn’t feel a single thing and could doze off. I also really appreciate that he is super patient and never makes me feel like I am taking up too much of his time with any questions I have. If any friend asks for recommendations for a pain-free dentist I never hesitate to recommend him because it is a rare to find in SG! While the price point may be higher than your average neighbourhood dentist I think it is really worth it for people who have a chronic fear of dentists and pain or who don’t want their kids to be traumatised and fearful of dentists as they grow up :)

I had my teeth straightened with Invisalign, which are clear aligners that are removable, between 2017 and 2020. The highlight of my treatment was feeling virtually no pain during my tooth extraction process. This shows us how experienced and skillful Dr. Kelvin Chua is.
