Cheap and nice bee hoon and chicken wing

Long queue for a below-average plate of food. Chicken wings are salty, beehoon and noodles are below average. They also use disposable plates and cutlery. Only saving grace is the chilli and the price.

Supposedly popular for it's chicken wing, it was indeed pretty decent but nothing spectacular. Chicken wing was crispy and juicy and savory favored. The fried bee hoon, noodles, fried cabbage and otah was average at best. Chilli sauce does elevate the favour with it spice and sweetness. Not worth the queue unless you have time to spare. Many better options available in this food center.

They are famous for their chicken wings. Their now defunct OG stall at commonwealth used to command ridiculous queue, though they are no longer around but good thing was that they managed to branch out a few outlets across the island like this stall. The wings here I felt though may not be as good as the OG stall but still they are above most stalls, especially those generic breakfast bee hoon stalls that you find in MRT stns.

Selling the same items as you would find over at Chap Lak Lao, but without the snaking long line. Signature wings taste to be marinated the same, but unfortunately had been fried just a tad too long. In a deeper color shade beyond the 'gold standard'. Inevitably too, you don't get the same glistening juices escaping the meat fibers effect.

Having past experiences with their chicken wings, the ones were disappointing. Chicken Wings ($1.30 each) were not as seasoned and the chili was slightly different, less fiery and more sweet. A pity the brand seemed to be suffering in quality.

Used to be a much more generous serving at $0.80 when it was nearly opened. Now that it has increased slightly to $0.90, the noodles has ironically been more pathetic and little at times. The quantity varies and some server give even lesser than this! Wish they are more consistent and generous to give this traditional breakfast dish a less of a roulette feel. The noodle taste better with their chilli and chicken wing, but decided to try sausage today. Greeted by a small portion that makes me smile less alas...

Long q, reasonably price. Very big packet of bee hoon, fried chicken and fried bean curd skin at $3.50.
