Big size egg tart. The crust was more crumply than crusty. The egg mix was flavorful. Quite ordinary. Good value

Was at the hawker centre and saw this stall with a pretty long queue. Read about it somewhere with some interesting pastries to try, decided to buy it after my meal hoping the queue would be shorter. As I expected, when I went to queue there was just a couple in front of me, but I was disappointed as there wasn't much left, maybe the people in the queue earlier really bought a lot. There was still some tarts and minimal bread left, so I got the tarts and the red bean mochi bun. The lady in the stall also recommended me to try their Soya bean drink which I liked it a lot as it tasted pretty freshly made. I got the yam tart, durian tart and the pandan tart which I thought all were pretty good. The yam tart only had a thin layer of the egg and beneath was all the taro, great for taro lovers. The durian tart was the one I liked most because it was filled with durian flavour. I placed it in the air fryer and cut it the smell of durian just filled the air, and there was this liquid that flowed out which looks like condensed milk but was like a durian liquid which tasted so good. The pandan one was quite normal but the pandan taste was just on point. The only disappointing thing was the red bean mochi bread. It was the last piece on the rack and wonder if it was overlooked but there was no mochi in the bread. There was just nothing but red bean filling. Hope it was just a 1 time issue. I would love to visit again and try other stuff if possible.
