For me it’s one of the better and legit CKT in west side other than Jurong 496 CKT. The wok hey is really gao, you’ve to try to know it.

Feng Ji Fried Kway Teow($4)? Every single plate is cooked on order, no mass cooking at one go. By looking at how radiant it glows, it does seem promising but when eaten, its just another plate of normal Kway Teow. No awesome factor. Haiz. Yellow noodles with Kway Teow stir-fry with lap cheong, fishcake, egg, cockles and bean sprout covered in sweet savoury dark sauce giving its greasy glossy finish. The taste isn't that strong either. Same goes to their chilli, makes me wonder did they put chilli in it and stir-fry.

Ridiculously expensive CKT I ever had . Hardly find any cockles , 2-3 small lup cheong, two miserable vegetable stems, hardly find any egg … all these for $5 ( smallest portion they offer ) ! Wonder if the large portion will cost $10? I think the famous Outram Park CKT is cheaper ? Taste wise was normal and nothing outstanding , no wonder previous crowd is gone ! Total rip off and I will NEVER try again !

Would call this a well balanced plate in flavour. That's both a strength and weakness because while satisfying, nothing in particular stands out. I bought the $5 portion (a bit small) and had to wait around 20mins on a Sun evening. Would buy again to satisfy CKT cravings but only if in the area and not such a long wait.

I think one of the worst chaw kway Teow for me. $5 for a small plate plus got egg shell. Below normal ckt.

If this is the first time you want to try the Kway Teow from here, scroll away. There are many other good foods here. Expensive, small size, taste really so-so, and the waiting time is ridiculously long. Small serving cost $5 and you’ll get 3 small cockles, 3 slices of Chinese sausage, 2 small pieces of Chye Sim, bunch of bean sprout strands, tiny bits of eggs, and of course small serving of Kway Teow which does not have wok hey smell and a tad too sweet.

Came here quite a few times and have always noticed a stall right at the corner with a retro looking signboard that sells char kway teow. On my previous trip here, my friend ordered, noticed there was was wok hei smell when my friend returned with the plate of char kway teow thus return here this time round to try. Prices starts from SGD$ 4 onward. The char kway teow comes with the standard sliced fishcake, chinese sausage as well as cockles. The SGD$4 portion is pretty small, apart from that the char kway teow is pretty decent. Can taste the wok hei and is more on the sweeter and oily side.

One of the better dry type CKT. Good wok hei but slightly too sweet. Be prepared to wait during peak meal times but no need to wait between 3 to 5pm. Portion is small for $4 plate.
