★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the corner of the coffeeshop, lies a gem. One of the Best BCM ever!(My Father's Mince Meat Noodles)
Piping hot noodles with meat balls and very nice wantons with meat fillings.
Starting from $3.50, $4.50 & for the hungrier go for the $5.50.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a fan of homemade food, one of my favourite dishes is Stir Fried Bittergourd and eggs (苦瓜炒蛋). Having failed to cook one myself (too bitter ?), I know I can rely on the zi char here, as it never fails to deliver.
Delicious! I can say the bittergourd is well prepared, and the dish is definitely flavourful having been cooked with dried shrimps (蝦米) and eggs.
I really do love coming here for this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This coffee shop is situated right below the multi-storey car park. It has another coffee shop (Food Loft) right opposite. Like most coffee shops, it serves a small variety of food (Chinese and Western). Unfortunately no Malay food here.
I ordered a bowl of mixed (pig’s organ) porridge at $3.50, which is very good price considering the amount of porridge and ingredients given. One thing I don’t like is the “generous” amount of cuttlefish. A little too much.
The coffee costing $1.20 was not bad.
The environment is a little bit stuffy and warm though there are fans around. I’m sweating at 11am now. Please do not leave your food unattended as there are birds (pigeons) scavenging for leftovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this porridge shop is a branch of the famous Sin Heng Kee in Hougang. Tried for the 1st time - not sure what to order - so got the special for $5. Portion is really generous (i was unable to finish) and it has a little bit of everything thrown in! Minced & sliced pork, fish, century egg & cuttlefish. I didn't like the fish - had a soft spongy texture. Porridge was tasty & thick but not congee consistency. Was here for breakfast on a weekend & only needed to wait abt 10 mins. There is also a very popular stall selling bak chor mee here. So though the coffeeshop has plenty of seats, most might be taken up.

Juz go across at the Istanbul Coffee shop where they served the Popular Nasi Ambeng, Nasi Rawon sets at a reasonable price of $6/- wif lots of rice n servings inside...
