Do not let the bad reviews turn you away from this place. I have been back here over the past ten years and I have yet to find another place with such friendly and kind staff and glasses that are at a really reasonable price.

Ordered some lenses. Was going to collect and had a bus mishap. Called them to tell them I would be at most 5 minutes late (5 pass 7). Lady on the phone just said "We close at 7". Called a second time when I was on my way hoping I could make it. Guy said "yar maybe." Reached at 7.03, closed already. No customer service considerations.

Was a loyal customer since 10 over years ago, had been always good and value for money. However, for my last visit, I felt con-ed because I had high degree(800) and the lens was very very thick, when the specs cost 300. I compared to the two frames I had bought previously from this shop at around 200 each and they were much thinner. If you still want to retain old customers you should be honest. Suspect they did the lens at a lower index to save cost.

Was recommended by my neighbors and no regrets patronising them. Been to both amk and hougang outlet before....all staffs are friendly, however hougang outlet surpassed my expectations! Recently made a specs for my little boy but after a month or so, realise the specs seems too big for him and it kinda weight down his ear. was prepared to make a new pair when visit the shop to feedback on this. after adjusting the spec for some time still cannot. and they proposed to choose a smaller frame and they will cut the lens to fit it. sounds like a plan and i am prepared to pay for the new frame and mentally prepared to ask for some discount. but they said FOC...wow. totally surprised me sia! thank you for the great after sale service. definitely will come back again and recommend to my friends

Staff and optometrists are friendly and very experienced. Offers very good advice. Wide range of trendy frames too. Price is very reasonable and affordable, much easier on my pocket compared to the ones in the malls. Kids making spectacles can pay by CDA card.

I have been a regular customer. However, the latest spectacle lenses that I replaced on 12 Feb 2022 was a total disappointment. My old lenses, were not returned to me. I called the shop to inform that I can’t even read the text on my computer screen. I was told to go back to the shop for the staff to make some adjustment. When I returned to the shop, nothing was done. But I was told to go home and move my monitor closer in order to read the text on the screen. I told the staff, this is not acceptable. But the staff insisted that I should try to get use to the new lenses and update them. My advice to all, if ever you choose to replace your lenses, remember to collect the old lenses. If new lenses doesn’t work at least still can change to the old ones. For my case, I was told that my old lenses, which I can see clearer are no longer with them. I cannot deny that this shop sell cheaper lenses but if I am paying for lenses that cannot help me see better, it’s a total waste of money.
