Extremely bad experience here. My partner went to see the doctor around 9.10pm because she was experience nausea and stomach pain after dinner that day. Initially the receptionist was nice and was concerned about my partners condition as she looked pale. However when she was admitted into the doctor office, the doctor glared at her and told my partner that he needed to close his clinic because “his children was waiting for him”. He became very rude and refused to treat the patient. My partner was then ushered out. Then my partner called me and I advised her to find another clinic ASAP. I’m extremely disappointed with this clinic and their professionalism. I don’t expect to visit this clinic anymore.

Receptionist was ok but when i went into the consultation room, the doctor was moody. Did not consult on what to do or not to do during a back strain. When told that the pain was severe, he just said he will prescribe muscle relaxant and pain killers. When i told him that i was pregnant, will everything be ok? He replied rudely “you should have told me”. Isn’t that what I was doing? Telling you that I am pregnant? Is it not the job of the doctor to gave asked as well if I am currently in any special circumstances or conditions? He ended up only just prescribing me Anarex… Anyway conclusion is that I will not go back to this doc. He is moody, rude, does not give proper advise.

Accompanied my sister to the clinic this morning (19 Dec), and was met with an extremely unprofessional and rude doctor. Before leaving the clinic, my sister and I asked the doctor if the medication prescribed is suitable for pregnant women, and was shocked when the doctor looked at us sternly and said “you should have told me you were pregnant”, and proceeded to reply to us sarcastically that the medication he just prescribed would have to be changed as the dosage he mentioned earlier isn’t suitable for pregnant women. Excuse you?? Do we look like trained professionals who are adept in medication knowledge??? Shouldn’t the doctor also be responsible and accountable to ask patients before prescribing the medicine…. TLDR; medication dosage prescribed remained the same as before…?

This is the first time ever, writing my second one star review of the same place. If i could give it zero stars i would. I think my first review was deleted, so I'm writing both experiences here. My first horrible experience was when i got dengue. Clinic opening hours state was 8.30, receptionist only came at 9am. However doctor only came at 9:30AM, poorly dressed in sloppy t shirt and slacks no less. Amazing. Looked like he just got out of bed. Told him my symptoms and i said that i think i got dengue and he replied "what makes you so sure? are you a doctor?" EXCUSE YOU???????? He diagnosed me as possibly covid+ and asked me stay home to monitor my symptoms. Definitely did not think his advice was credible, went to Novo Vita clinic the next day when it opened and i indeed had dengue as symptoms were more pronounced. Got referred to SGH A&E and doctor said that i was very lucky to get medical attention. Imagine if i stayed home to wait and see if i was covid+ lol. Second instance - My mom went to visit this doctor because she was ART positive. Doc just gave her medicine and a website and told her to register herself online as C+. When my mom showed me the site, IT DID NOT EVEN EXIST. Waste of money and time. Doctor had poor attitude, couldn't be arsed at all. Surprised this practice is still around. Also overcharges, charges consultation based on timing. Ridiculous.

Avoid- terrible bedside manner and shows absolutely no interest in listening to/ let alone helping patients. The doctor immediately comes across as rude and unfriendly. He started speaking to me before I had even sat down, but he only mumbled a few words to me during the first two appointments, cutting me off when I was speaking. At the third appointment, he again spoke over me while I was trying to tell him what was wrong. He then missed when I told him about a serious symptom and smugly turned to me to say he “can’t help”, saying my symptoms were “too vague”. When I called him on ignoring the serious symptom he then said he didn’t hear me and then scrambled to cover his back. I also question what kind of a doctor simply declares they can’t (won’t) help; I’ve already seen another doctor who is treating me. Poor doctor and a rude man. It is obvious from the second you open his door that he is only interested in processing as many patients as quickly as possible. Even his reception staff showed more concern when they were advising me to go elsewhere.

I go to this clinic whenever I’m sick, and the receptionists and the doctor have always very nice and patient, and accommodating as well. I always walk-in and the wait time is usually no longer than 15 mins, if it is longer then the receptionist would be kind enough to let me know so I can come back later. Honestly I’m really surprised to see all the negative reviews.
