Nice big and clean food court operated by food republic that serves local delights. Always have a cuppa tea when i visit parkway before heading for the car park. Take away ayam penyet, it taste nice,i am sure it would taste better if can dine in but due covid phase 2, can only buy back. Will try again when can dine in

I would recommend Sembawang Claypot Rice. The chef started from raw rice grains, waiting time about 20 minutes. This tasted good, I stirred the rice over the claypot producing some charred smell and taste. Chicken meat was tendered not overly cooked, unlike most claypot rice, which was pre-made and heated when customer orders. It is pricier at $7.50.

This guy is very rude to the old man before me and a lady after me. The old gentleman only asked if the dish is chicken or pork and he glared at him and raised his voice , you want chicken or pork ??? Similar rudeness to the lady

Not a typical affordable food-republic food court. Most of the food stalls are crazy expensive here. Even in the economy rice and curry stall you may have to pay over$ 12 for a basic meal. There are several stalls in the food court.

I donโ€™t know about you but I tend to stick to the tried and tested stalls at my go-to food courts. Such is the case every time I drop by Food Republic in the basement of Parkway Parade. But then the other day, spontaneity grabbed hold and I veered to something new, leading me to encounter simple comfort food done well. I get why โ€œSING HK Cafeโ€ is quite popular because even the basic โ€œchar chan tangโ€ dish of luncheon meat and egg on rice at the stall is elevated. Cooked with care by a middle-aged China-born cook, the pieces of meat, cut into big cubes, were properly deepfried to achieve a crunchy coating first. Only then did he transfer the meat to the wok into which he poured beaten eggs that he swiftly stirred into the luscious form of a silky blanket. Besides the default topping of fresh iceberg lettuce, I nodded when he offered to add the aromatic condiment of spring onions cooked in oil to my dish too. What an appetising quick lunch that turned out to be. The stall offers two kinds of chilli sauce but Iโ€™d love to have had some fresh cut chilli padi. Yes, not the usual but the tastebuds want what the tastebuds want ?

Sing HK kitchen is a new addition, serving hongkong cha chan ting cuisine. Surprisingly good, I had the pork and scrambled egg rice. $7.80 well spent, will return!

Good size Food Republic food court inside the Parkway Parade. Lots of varies cuisine choices for reasonable price, eg: noodle and rice dishes, desserts and drinks, etc. Nice air condition and plenty of tables/seats.

Purchased the Nasi Padang from Food Republic, the taste is quite good and the curry is aromatic. Chose the vegetables option and all of the items are rich in flavour! For the lemon/lime punch drink, it is a little bland for me and a little pricey ($3.60). For space wise, there are quite a lot of seats. However, if you go during peak hours, it is hard to find seats. Overall, a decent experience, depending on what you order.
