The first Gochi-So we tried was @ Jewel some time back, Tampines 1 outlet opened some months ago, and we ordered the Special set Mille Fueille Cheese Katsu, Bellota Loin katsu, and 2 tempura prawns all was yummy, there’s no refill for side cabbage though, nevertheless enjoyable mid-week dine out

First time trying this Signature iberico jowl Don. Staff said the pork is generally not fatty unless choose belly. I paid almost 16 dollars for a bowl of 5 pcs of pork with rice and egg. Veg was v v little as good as not giving. Pork was tender but I could only eat half the pork cos the remaining half was all fats. Really unsatisfactory unless you enjoy eating fats.

First time dining here. Tried the Iberico Collar Steak and Bellota Loin Katsu Set. While the fries and sauce for the Iberico Collar Steak is nice, the meat was quite juicy but wasn’t tender enough. It takes quite a few bites before I was able to swallow. I was disappointed in their Bellota Loin Katsu Set as it is their second best selling dish. The meat was tough and dry. I have had better Katsu at other restaurants with similar prices. They also used frozen edamame instead of fresh edamame. Total price for Iberico Collar Steak, Bellota Loin Katsu Set, a bowl of edamame and 2 cans of drinks is $47.

Ordered the non fried stuff, because Fried food hard to go wrong. But there are mixed reviews about their fried food. Had their signature Iberico Jowl Don. Pricy first. Tasty second. Note price on menu is without service fee and GST. Pork is well cooked, though not evenly cut, some are thicker, some thinner. The part that is crispy and slightly burnt, pefect. The sauce plays an important part too. Overall ok la. Good. Can try if you want something special.

Just like others, I also gave this place a benefit of doubt even though having read multiple bad reviews. And just like them, I was utterly disappointed and annoyed with my lunch experience today. Firstly staff are too busy serving two restaurants areas, unfriendly and doesn't come back even they said they would. You can sit and wait long long and they have forgotten you and don't apologise. Ordering via QR code online website was difficult as the website layout is not user friendly. Food was poor in quality and small in size for the pricing. Food comes without cutleries. Have to ask unfriendly staff for it. Chicken Katsu was dry, tough and tasteless. Miso soup was the only edible thing. Edamame comes cold and pre-soaked in salt water. Signature pork jowl was nothing to shout about and portion is small. If you have young kids, don't come here. I asked for an empty plate for my kid and they gave me a rectangular serving plate. Totally unsuitable for young kid to eat rice from! I know they have round dinner plates because another table was given one when asked. But when I asked, they said their kitchen can't provide it as they need to use it. Nonsense! How can you operate as a dine in restaurant if you have so few plates?? First time and last time for me.

There is queue during dinner time, limited seat available because of safe distancing. Scan QR code to order and proceed to counter for payment to get your order process. Set is available by topping up $5 (choose 2 items) or $6 (choose 3 items), hot green tea, miso soup or sides. I order Bellota Loin Katsu, meat quality is good, tender and tasty but look at the coating, the color is a bit dark instead of golden, I believe they are too busy to change the oil. The crispy pork is nice as well but if the taste stronger would be nicer.

The restaurant is clean and spacious. When the food was served I was skeptical because they look over-fried. Yet they are super crunchy! The chicken katsu and ebi are fantastic! I didn't like the taste of the collar w/cheese. The rice and cabbage tasted good too. Highly recommended!

Read the reviews and didn't want to dine here. Husband thought that we should give it a go and judge for ourselves. Well... The reviews are right. This dish is $17.90 excluding taxes and the meat portion was tiny and in an odd, dull grey color. Also it was chunky on the inside. Let's just let the photos do the talking.
