I have previously provided feedback on the wastage of plastics by individual packing. They now give $0.10 discount for refusing a carrier. Far from ideal but good step forward.

Fresh bread, buns, scones, muffins, loaves- melon/matcha/red bean, custards, apple, choco, strawberries etc etc. Spoilt for choice n super fresh, recommended tries are the matcha custard buns n scones Totemo Oishi ? bit of a queue during peak but the breads are often fresh n piping hot! Great with a cuppa of tea or Java n wonderful just for a quick bite or snack. Located B1 of Great World” City.

The signature Gokoku bread so soft and fluffy, and it was the softest multigrain bread I’ve ever had ???? it is on the sweeter side though, i wonder if they could cut down on the sugar amount Not that the custard buns were bad - the custard cream was smooth, not too sweet, and flavour was decent. I didn’t manage to achieve the molten consistency by heating it up in my oven though... maybe they could provide some re-heating instructions for the custard buns, since they alr do so for their plain breads! But anw, absolutely love the concept of this bakery!! Healthier bakes using unrefined grains + incentive to bring your own bags = ??????? will definitely come back again :)

The staff behind the cashier ask me in a coarseness manner“ you need bag or not ?” …u mean I am to carry away these Bread with my bare hands ???? Discourteous rude I felt like walking away, it occurred before payment was made! So what I can pay for the bag ??? Deservingly no star !!!! Supposedly a Japanese F&B chain but NEVER practiced OMOTENASHI ! Rude staff ?? getting worst empty void places big headed empty hearts ! Admin for customers feedback will only do selective replies, they are only going for bouquets ??. I do not expect to hear from them !

Interior design is very clean and modern. You can find different kinds of innovative breads here at an affordable price. Breads on display are kept in a contained shelf. You should drop by their outlets all around Singapore.

There was a monthly top seller bread poster display- indicating the more popular bread being sold. Price was a bit on the high side, due to the supposedly healthier ingredients used. Different types of jams, imported from Japan, were available, from strawberry and blueberry jams. Service could be better, if you are to compare with other bakeries. Do bring your own carrier, as $0.10 was charged per plastic bag. And there are perks available, if you have signed up as member.
