Golden Village Grand (Great World City) - 1 Kim Seng Promenade

It's a nice place to watch movie. The seats are clean. We have to wear mask during the whole movie. It's cost S$ 17.00 per pax (Gemini)

Tried the gold class here at 10pm on Saturday. The place is quiet and good. However, it seems like there is only one person doing the cleanup, ushering, ordering, and delivery of food. Poor girl. I ordered nachos and it came 15 mins later and was already soggy due to the cheese. The cheese was also cold so can tell it was left there for a while before being delivered to us. You can enjoy movies here but food is a bit sus if you are expecting gold class service.

Very good experience, first time with kids to watch Chickenhare (pretty good kid show too) Spacious seats and Friday show causing to be pricier (paid about $18/pax) but boy, was it enjoyable.

Just watched the latest James Bond movie with the catered gold class. Whole experience was shockingly poor. Martinis on the way in. All prepared in advance by the entrance. When I asked should we take one? No please take a seat and we will serve you. Took nearly 40 mins to reach us. Cinema in gold class is tiny. My wife’s food arrived 30 minutes before mine. Realised why, freezing cold STEAK. They then just reheated it. Better for your resoling shoes. App did not work to order drinks, so went to the gold class bar for a drink, no one serving. Go gold class. Eat before you go and get a popcorn and soft drink. Completely no class.

The cinema itself is great. Service definitely needs to improve. There are crowds waiting to buy popcorn and drinks and just 1 person attending. Waiting times are more than 15 mins which made us get late to our movie

Great service by the staff there! Today, after I watched a movie, I lost my watch in the cinema hall. When I told them about it and asked them politely if they could help me find it, they did not even hesitated with the request. Even though my watch was not found, I still found their service and attitude great. Secondly, the seats in the cinema hall were comfortable too and the temperature was just right. Highly recommend this cinema to anyone who wants to watch a movie away from the hustle and buzzle city life. 5* for this cinema outlet at Great World”? EDIT: 17/1/2022 Visited this cinema again today to try out their Grand Seats. Indeed it was an excellent experience with the seats, reclinable and comfortable too! The view was also very clear and obstructed. Hopefully GV can include this kind of seats in its other cinema halls as well.

Gold Class is a luxury experience that everyone should try at least once. One of the best classic cinemas with its decor and styling in Singapore. Located within Great World City Shopping Complex and on the top floor.

Expensive. Chairs were comfy and able to recline fully. They provided a blanket for each seat. There was a complimentary bottle of water and nice cranberry cookies too. There was an option to order food and drinks which are delivered to the seat during the movie.
