Grains & Hops - 117 Killiney Rd

Recently renovated. Formerly S11 kopitiam. Stalls have largely remained the same since the change to Grain & Hops chain. 24 hour coffeeshop but only the drinks stall and ban mian stall are open for business 24/7. Other stalls have regular business hours. The Muslim food stall starts from breakfast. Roast meat stall and teochew porridge stall begin serving from around 11am. Food is decent all around. The mee goreng from Muslim stall is excellent. Make sure you order their fried chicken as well. Very juicy and tasty! The drinks stall serves many different types of beers and there are always promotions. Also serves wine and saki. Since renovation the place is much better. It's cleaner, more cosy and comfortable. Nice place to share a drink with good company after work. This coffeeshop is the most economical choice in terms food and drinks along the killiney stretch. Popular during lunchtime with office workers in the area.

This is a standard coffee shop that has been renovated recently and is a pleasant place. The food stall offerings are generally good and reasonable. The only downside is the drink stall lady that ticked me off. I had a Chinese tea from them and when I asked for some more hot water, she demanded 40¢. Amazing. This is not even practised in cafes and tea shops around Singapore.

Great little food centre with five food stalls frequented by a mix of locals and expats plus the occasional tourist and office worker. The banmian stall in particular is very good.

The previous S-11 has closed down and here has opened Grains and Hops. A coffee shop with a better selection of stalls than before. Prata noodles mixed rice etc hard to find such in the area. There's a stall selling beer that are crazy good deals too!

Ordered the Nasi Chicken Briyani here for lunch, the crowd was expected especially during lunch time. Seating capacities are lesser due to safe measurement implemented. The washroom is upstairs, need to bring your own toilet paper or else buy from the tissue machine next to the toilet sink for 20 cents.

Limited street parking along the area. Closest covered parking would be Orchard Grand Court just across the street

Surprisingly good handmade noodle soup. Al dente noodle, full of ingredients, swimming in a piping hot soup stock, all for $3.80 and open 24 hours.

Tried the noodle soup and dumplings here. Really not bad at all. The noodle soup had wide, hand cut noodles. The dumplings had lots of veg and were really pretty tasty. It’s inexpensive and the service was okay. I would go back.
