Han’s Cafe (111 Somerset)

Great place to dine in for Local and Western food. The food is good here plus their tea/coffee is good also. I like their tea very much. It taste better than other places. The customer service is good as well.

Really a cool place to chill and have a brunch. Full menu of signature delights, all day breakfast, local favourite food and beverages.

After dinner at Killiney area, my family and I dropped by for some drinks. We ordered 2 teh si kosong, 2 kopi c sui dai. Oh my goodness! They were beautiful... Piping hot... sweetness level was just right... Importantly, the tea and coffee texture was smooth that made it so pleasant to drink.. Thank you Aunty Sally for making them! I guess it's the right amount or proportion of tea/coffee, sugar and evaporated milk

Food was decent , well priced too

Ordered a breakfast set. Food quality was ok but order was substandard. Cashier made a “tsk” sound and sounded impatient when i changed my order. I asked if she’s ok and she was shocked and embarrassed. The restaurant was empty and there was no other patrons in the queue.

The set meals value for money and good quality of the food ?

Went there during breakfast timing, saw the menu and ordered aglio olio but was told by a auntie that its not available. When we asked about regular toast, again she say its not available. So when we ask what's available then, she point on the menu in front of us saying only breakfast platter is available with some attitude on. So, we order that. While waiting, we saw other pasta and food was being served... So, why didn't she tell us that other choices of pasta, rice and noodle is available?! Very bad experience with the auntie that served us.

Just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Orchard Road is 111 Somerset Road. A nice building with some eateries and cafés, as well as a supermarket, it is an ideal spot to chill just off the mainstream. Han's Cafe at Triple One is a nice cafe providing good food, desserts, as well as simple drinks at affordable prices. Visited the cafe to chill and to enjoy a couple of favourites. The Peach Tart has been a favourite since childhood days. It is a simple tart base with cream and half a canned glazed peach on top. This simple tart is done so well that it is a joy and has the right mix of sweetness and tartness from the glazed peach. Next up is a simple custard puff. The puff skin is really light and the yumminess of the custard was a hidden delight that is definitely an enjoyable dessert. Finally, ended the visit with a slice of Black Forest Cake. The cake has a nice balance of chocolate with cherries and whipped cream. The flavours were a little light but given the price point, it was definitely value for money.
