★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow I cannot believe this place survives in today's competitive F&B / cafe environment.
I ordered a smashed avocado as sides for delivery. It was $5 so we expected it to come in the size of a decent side but it came in a tiny condiment container. I almost laughed at the pathetic sight of it.
Hash browns were basically those you can buy frozen from supermarkets, not the hash you expect from a decent cafe.
A lot more effort needed to get returning customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated inside katong village, this homely dining area is ideal if you wish to hang out with your peers and catch up over brunch or western cuisine with ok pricing, quality ingredients and generous proportions... The ambience is nothing special - ain't sure if there is a specific wooden-centric theme they are going for - but the service is great and friendly and seating is spacious and comfortable... Been here a few times and can therefore attest to the consistency in their quality. Also, self service water is available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were very friendly and helped with a random issue I had. Overall, the food and coffee was good too. Love that the cafe has charging points if you wanna work and the mall has decent wifi.
The truffle fries were ?? smelled and tasted perf. The bagel with scrambled eggs weren’t that great. Bagel had no flavour or taste. The poached eggs with salmon was decent too. Could do with a bit more flavour and spice. Also tried their caramel cappuccino and white cold brew ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I find Group Therapy Cafe a simple no frills place that gets your breakfast to you without disappointment. They not only specialise in breakfast but mains and deserts as well. I will always be back for my usual diy plate. I love that water is free flow and not chargeable which is a policy i advocate for eateries

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food and coffee. No service charge. Water available (self service). Beef with brown rice was a tad on the tough side. The difference in size between the adult and child portion of the Spaghetti bolognese is quite significant. The child serving is similar to the size of a standard bowl of rice. Adult portions are way bigger, not just double.
