Hilton Singapore Orchard - 333 Orchard Rd

A forgettable mass-market experience. Was excited to check out the newly renovated Hilton Singapore but other than the modern decoration, there’s nothing “flagship” about this hotel. There was zero personalised welcome - not even a note for Diamond member. No Diamond amenities. “Upgraded” to a smaller executive room. Stingy late check out time for a mega hotel. Disproportionally small pool. No pillow menu (even a select service hotel in another chain has it). No turn down service. Good for a quick stay if you are shopping nearby but it is not a destination itself.

Stayed at the Hilton Singapore for couple of days and the stay were nice. Rooms and the entire hotel is just opened for couple of month. Also a premium location in Singapore which is really nice. The only small downside is, that the pool and the gym is not on the same floor but it can be accepted. Will be back for sure!

This is a recent offering to the Hilton chain hotels in Singapore. Formerly a Mandarin Oriental property, it was taken over by Hilton during the pandemic. This is a ver big hotel, with everything you can possibly need, at a great location. The taxis and limos arrive at level 1 but the reception is on level 5. We were greeted at level 1 and offered help to take care of our bags. The check-in went very smoothly and there was no wait. Our membership level was recognized. The key cards no longer are plastic, but made out of wood, a nice touch we thought. There are two towers and many different elevator banks. The signage is very good so there is no risk of getting lost. There are a sufficient number of elevators so you don’t need to wait for long, even at rush hour. The rooms are on the smaller side but very clean and nicely decorated. There are all the amenities you might need - bathrobes and slippers, complimentary water, coffee, and a minibar. Thanks to our level we got a nice cake one of the days - a nice touch to make members feel that loyalty is recognized. The pillows aren’t the best we have had, as they are very hard. But they didn’t deter us from getting a good rest as the beds are fabulous. The bathroom is small but very well planned, and of course features a bidet-toilet (mechanical, surprisingly enough), a bathtub and a separate shower. The soap, conditioner, and shampoo dispensers are of the large kind, which we like. The hotel has one of the best breakfasts we have experienced, and there are several restaurants and bars in the hotel, but also immediately adjacent to the hotel. Shopping is also right around the corner. All in all this is a fantastic Hilton property and we will come back for sure.

The newly renovated hotel make us feel very comfortable even at the check in lobby. Room are spacious even after requesting for 2 baby cots. Room design and colour of choice are very modern and comfy to be in. Got free upgrade to premium room. I did not call to request for toothbrush toothpaste so am not sure if they provide. I bring along my 2 kids below 2 years old. But hotel does not have baby essential eg: showering kit. So they ended up using the one that is in the bathroom. The hotel location are very near to shopping malls at orchard. You can find food or shopping needs easily! Overall definitely the best hotel stay so far! It’ll also be perfect for couple who wants to have their own time. Will stay at Hilton Orchard Hotel again!

Right from check-in till check-out... It was a wonderful and pleasant experience. From the room to the food served, everything was great. The black truffle roasted duck was a new sensation to my taste buds. Front desk manager Nara (if I remembered correctly) was helpful and courteous when I approached for Room Service assistance over the front desk. Please keep up the good work. U have won me and my family completely over compared to another hotel in the Marina area...

The recently renovated Hilton Singapore has a clean, chic and contemporary decor. It is large and quite confusing to navigate as there are 2 wings. The pool is also small and not directly connected via the room lifts so you will have to walk through the lobby in your wet robes. The gym and executive lounge on the other hand are large and spacious. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The standard deluxe king room is comfortable but noise isolation is not perfect. We could hear the loud race cars 22 storeys downstairs. The power plugs next to our bed also didn’t work. Buffet breakfast was decent but had to be served by staff, which meant long queues at time. Overall, I still prefer the Conrad In Singapore but Hilton offers great value for money and a pleasant stay along Orchard Road.

Nice 'new' hotel. The furnishings are brand new. The room was a little small but comfortable. Only thing is the shower had some issues where the water seemed to leak out to the bathroom every time we took a shower. Not sure if it's a design flaw that the water seeps out from the gaps of the glass door. Topped up for the executive room which came with afternoon tea and evening cocktails. The lounge was huge but didn't really offer much views. Service was pretty attentive regardless. Food choices for evening cocktails were good enough that we didn't have dinner. However, they can only whip up basic cocktails which is slightly disappointing..The best thing about the hotel would be the buffet breakfast at estate. There is a lot of variety of breakfast dishes and even a fresh juice station which is very rare even in 5 star hotels. The gym was very well equipped with new machines. Finally the swimming pool is very small. Though it's not their fault as they just took over the property from another hotel chain.
