really dont want 2 go back to tis bank. i opened a bank a/c n transfered in fund online( tat was great part )when the interest rate was good n their website said we would be informed when the interest rate was changed. however i didnt receive any notification. i found out the rate droped 50% aft 3 mths. so i wanted 2 transfer out the money 2 another bank a/c. then their website indicated i had 2 go 2 their counter. so i all the way fr jurong west to their office. there counter only got 2 staff n one of them reached at 11am. two of them either talked on the phone or talked 2 each other happily. later i found there were another 2 staff serving customers also. only 3 customers were in front of me. but i waited outside 20mins to be seated inside. then the staff told me they would charge me for the transaction over the counter. i told her ur website disallowed me to do fund transfer online. then i started 2 wait for them again.... dont know when i can get back my money terrible bank! i will pay a lot for my parking fee due to their efficency! Terrible i waited 4 more than 1 hr 4 them 2 reset my online banking. Aft tat they found out i didnt receive the token so still couldnt do the transfer. Then i was informed to wait another 20mins 4 the token ready. Only the lady standing in front of the reception seemed at leat doing something for me. She instructed the staff to get me the casher order immediately Im still here now its 1230 I reached here at 10550

When I read about the negative reviews about HL Bank I decided to take half day leave to go settle my banking transaction with HL Bank, just in case I got to wait very long there... A lady greeted me from her office near the safe entry point then she attended to the needful after she understood my needs. Everything was nice and pleasant throughout my conversation with her & I asked for her name - Mei Ru. It was only till she directed me to the counter then my impression of HL Bank turned bad... the two senior looking staff didn’t greet, didn’t smile but one of them just took over the paperwork from Ms Mei Ru & started processing yet still chit chatting with her colleague sitting next to her... Once done, the lady didn’t even bother to look up, she just passed me the banking slip & said :”you go out from there...” If HL Bank wants to do better in terms of customer service or customer banking experience, they need to either send the two seniors at the front desk for training or replace them with more people who serve clients like Ms Mei Ru ? 5 Stars for Ms Mei Ru! & if there is a negative rating I will not hesitate to give to the two senior cashiers. They need to wake up & understand that they are truly blessed to be still under employment ?

I had problems with my internet banking login and needed to come by for a password reset. The branch was relatively empty, and the lady at the counter, Chik Eng, was very friendly and helpful. She, along with a staff member (who magically appeared out of nowhere with my new password), sorted out my issue in very little time. In the interim, everybody I met there from the cleaner to the security person was extremely pleasant. One of the nicest banking experiences I've had.

Was down at your HL Bank earlier today and so fortunate to have met 2 of your friendly and helpful customer service representatives - Seth Tay and Chik Eng - that I can settle my purpose of this visit with ease and efficiency. Thank you ?
