Passed by this shop and tried 4 of the items. We really liked 3 of it (as shown in photo). The fried yam ball particularly stands out. The crispy skin and the savoury char siew filling makes it one of the best yam ball I've tasted.

The dim sum were really a disappointment. Siew Mai, Chee Cheong Fan, and buns are all disappointing. Soon kuey is not bad. I order 2 boxes or 5 pieces, for 2 groups of people. She didnt put the sweet sauce and chill packet in, i asked for it, she put 1 sweet sauce n 1 chilli on the counter unhappily. I asked for 1 more set for another bag. She said. We usually give 1 each for 1 order. This is so ridiculous! The sauces were very small pack in the first place. So i told her should i order at a different timing in order to get. One more set of sauce? She then turned ard and said something to another auntie who ignored her. Her attitude is very bad. Will not visit again. Waste of time.

Consistent Good Quality and Excellent Value I've been buying from them for several years now, mostly for lunch and small parties, and have never been disappointed. Their soon kueh is probably their signature product - very smooth thin skin and very well balanced flavour. Next would be their char sha bao - relatively thin skin and very tasty filling. Their da bao would be third - skin tends to be thick and filling very full mouth feel.

This Dim Sum shop has been around for ages. Sizes has been going down while prices going up recently. Taste is still decent. Queues are a common sight during breakfast but should clear quite fast unless there are big orders from some patrons.

Went there on 12/3. Bought siewmai, cheongfun, big pao, lohmaigai. Way below my expectation... lohmaigai tasted like factory-made, bought a big pao but in fact not that big, cheongfun has its 'unique' flavour that I had never tasted before haha.. (in a bad way). PLUS! I requested sweet sauce from them coz I love sweet taste instead of just chili sauce, but the sauce was really really terrible, I don't even call it sweet sauce, I think it was some sort of black sauce. I didn't know the restaurant was not opened for public to dine in.. so we only can take-away and eat these at nearby food court.

Surprisingly to find this standalone dim sum in this neighbourhood. Dim sum was good and reasonable price!

1st time buying as dad asked for some buns for breakfast. But ive left Tiong Bahru area, where there's a better option ;) anyway, dad was somewhat disappointed with the char siew pau. The filling is wet and almost mashed up with no distinct porky taste. Will stick to the classic favourite in tiong bahru. No go for the chicken pau as well, if compared to the classic.

Haven't been here for more then 10years. A dear frd brought back memories of it when she visited us sometimes ago with some bao that she said is very famous in her area. Then I realised hey that the one we used to go. Kids love the char siew baos and custard with corn. Tried the siew Mai. Very old sch taste.
