Michael, Michael, with so many bad feedback, nothing is still being done to rectify the problems that are making the guests unhappy. It's my first time here and will definitely be my last. Never have I waited nearly an hour just to check in. This is definitely a management problem. Whoever is managing this hotel needs to be fired and be replaced by a more efficient personnel.

Decor was clean and modern. Love the warm colours especially the colourful tiled bathroom. Beds are large and comfy and best times for stay cation with complimentary monorail rides throughout the island and across to Vivocity

Service is consistently poor. Room service brings things to the room with an attitude- passes things to you with one hand and not even looking/ greeting, and walks off immediately as if you owe them a living. Worst type of human interaction let alone hospitality.

This is the second time we experience with Hotel Michael during our children school holiday. We stay here for 3 days 2 nights and it was good. This hotel is the nearest to Universal studios, shopping centre, restaurants around. Room was clean but the aircon too cold my son can’t sleep well. Disappointed about breakfast not so good!

Good part: Hotel is close to USS and other attractions. Walking distance to monorail that can take u to vivocity mall. Free valet. Friendly concierge. However given the status of 5 star hotel following can be improved: 1. Check in process can be made quicker. 2. Rooms were not ready at 3pm check in time. Had to wait an hour. 3. Room 0960 was poorly maintained. Fridge is leaking and a/c cant be controlled. 4. Maintenance staff came walking around the room with his shoes on. 5. Cleanliness of room can be improved. Under the bed was full of dust. 6. NO BREAKFAST :(

We had a comfortable stay for 2 nights with our children during the school holiday. Would like to thank this staff Mani for being such a helpful person. I was struggling with my kids and luggage during the checkout. Without being ask Mani came and offer help. He is always smilling and friendly. Thank you for your outstanding service

Room is clean and nice set up, however the air conditioning is set at 22deg to be the lowest temp. It is warm and even tho after the technician came to help, the air is not cool enough. Esp when the room gets heated up due to direct sun facing, 22deg is not enough to cool the room. The outside corridor is even more cooling than the room. The bed is comfy for cool environment but not for a warm room. Even tho we did not use the duvet, still wake up sweating. Hotel staff are accommodating, good service received.

Check-in process was pretty smooth, probably because we went on a weekday. We were given a room with plenty of defects - bi-fold windows beside the bathtub were already spoilt with hinges coming off, sofa was black & dirty and we also spotted some ants crawling on the sofa. Called for support & was told that someone would come in to fix the windows, but no one came so we requested for a change of room since we did not comfortable with the condition of the room we were given. We went back to the counter to request for a change of rooms (because no one called back) and had our request denied by a very rude lady at the counter. We were assisted by another young lady but another staff (the rude lady, I think her name was Amelia) kept interrupting our conversation because she overheard our request to change our rooms. FYI she was assisting another customer while she interrupted our conversation. It was super unprofessional, and she told us that there was "no point to change rooms as all rooms are the same" - to which we asked if she meant all rooms came with the same defects? She also kept telling us it was "full house" and there were no more rooms left for us to change to, despite us telling her her multiple times that the room is just dirty and full of defects. She spoke super rudely and just showed 0 professionalism, which was a huge disappointment. The only thing that saved us from leaving a 1/5 star review was another male staff at the counter who assisted us promptly after and gave us a free upgrade & it turned out to be a much cleaner room. Our stay was much more enjoyable due to his efficiency & service. Wouldn't come back again as the facilities aren't very great (pool was disappointing as well).
