Beach Villas - 8 Sentosa Gateway

The check in is at a hall beside Equarius Hotel, if you are driving, you can park near Equarius Hotel to unload your luggage first, thereafter after checking in, shift your car to Ocean Suite carpark which is a min drive away. We were asked to wait at a sofa area for around 30 mins to process the check in and the butler to fetch us with a buggy. The butler first gives us an intro tour around the vicinity to show us the beach villas and main swimming pool. After that, a room tour, omg we are so in love with the room. They are so nice to prepare a swan-design towel with rose petals and a huge yummy cake for our anniversary celebration ?. The aquarium is the best part of the room. We can soak in the bathtub while we enjoy the magnificent view. For our room 911, the air bubbles are located right in front, even though the view is not as clear, the Manta Rays love to play with the bubbles - butler says so! We managed to get a few nice shots of the Manta Rays having fun! It's recommended to wear something as it's the viewing gallery on the opposite side of the aquarium & in the morning divers will be swimming around. On the 2nd level, we can relax in the big living room, watch some TV shows and there's an outdoor jacuzzi for us to relax in. There're complimentary TWG Tea, Coffee and can drinks in their mini fridge too. To travel within RWS, we can call the butlers and they will bring us to our destination in their buggy. They will give us a number to call so that they can fetch us back to the suite too. We didn't include breakfast in our stay, so we asked the butler to drive us to The Forum to get McDonald's breakfast. Even though there are delivery options available, we did dinner at The Forum too. Beach Villas is a unique experience , you really do feel u are somewhere else like in a Bali escape somewhere so the price you pay is mainly for the view and the pool right at your doorstep . The Experience could have been much better though if the owners just took time to maybe maintain the beach chairs and the outdoor deck which are in pretty bad shape and could be a lil dangerous cos u have nails and wood poking out on the floor so we have to be a lil careful . The service by the drivers of buggies were mainly good but i believe the staff were probably a lil tired and somehow feel a lil jaded , any hotel we stayed in would have emailed or contacted us if we left stuff behind but in this case we did not receive any and this should have been a standard practice especially for hotels above 1000 dollars a night .... the view is super of course m breakfast could have been better , but breakfast old lady serving us was super nice and friendly, makes the buggy ride to breakfast not such a waste ....

I booked two bedroom room 820 and 821 ,villa at beach villa on th 21 Dec 21 ,staffs friendliness is good .but the mosquitoes are very bad ,if you planning to relax in the jacuzzi in the night to have a romantic experience..After 6pm you in for feast from mosquitoes and other bitting insects ..After complaining to the management the mosquitoes problem is still very bad during . my three night stayed, the bites is not like one or two is like group of mosquitoes attacking imagine i must bring baygon to keep on spraying .is like having a war with them. Their pest control engage by them anticimax did a very shorty job, they come and do the treatment less then 5 mins sending inexperience tech ..if you paying thousand over dollars per night and planning to used the facilities in the night ,make sure they do a proper pest control ..and do not paid in full ,if you still planning to take the risk .i am very disappointed with the bosses management of the .beach villa ,although the manager Jasper was very kind but he can.t extend his services because of the management above. I had stayed all the hotel under RWS ..and the best is still festive hotel.I even got a one day free stayed from them ,when they had faulty toilet and air con problem for one day , which I was so happy I extend my stayed with them for another two days .but when I was recommend for beach villa, I expect their services to be 10 time better then all the resort under rws .but that not seem to be ..But if you planning a better services and away from mosquitoes problem ,will recommend Shangri-la rasa sentosa ..the services staff are efficient ,food is very excellent especially at silver cafe ,they even have staff providing outdoor facilities for kids 9 to 12 yrs old ,the view is very good ..near the beach..there is kayak,and other water pool services which is free.their pricing is way cheaper then beach villa..but Shangri-la services is 5 stars...overall I will not recommend beach villa if you planning to have outdoor facilities at the beach villa jacuzzi or swimming After 6pm ,you have to stayed indoors af to avoid the mosquitoes, even take pictures of the mosquitoes i kill their needle is very long ,even if you wear jean still you be bitten.so guys if you want to booked the beach villa avoid room 820 and 821 ,you can try the other room hopefullythey is no mosquitoes..As for me I should have stayedat Shangri-la sentosa definitely have better experience then having mosquitoes bites and after itchiness that last a few day ??.

Staff, Jodi is really nice and jovial! There was a hotel staff, Irene who rang me up prior to our stay to update me on my hotel booking. I thought it was really nice of the hotel to follow up on our booking. Overall the staff that we met at the villa are friendly. We enjoyed our 1 night stay! Was there with 2 other friends. The hotel arranged some balloons and a small cake for my friend as we were celebrating her birthday at the villa. There’s a jacuzzi outside each individual villa where you have access to 24/7. For the main pool, you have to book a slot with the hotel staff. Just note that there are many mozzies. Hotel provide insect repellant , which can be found in the room. What I really like about the villa is that it is spacious and the surroundings are quiet. Gym available too but didn’t get a chance to use it. There’s buggy service for us to bring us to the nearest stop to hop on the sentosa express. Just need to give them a call to pick you up. Will find a chance to come back!

1 star food & service. This is by far most expensive hotel in Singapore ($X,000/night/room) so it was special treat & we were expecting "wow" BUT definitely not! Whilst the villa suite is beautiful with sea view & own pool & staff friendly.... Breakfasts were awful (no choice, cold food, waitress with her fingers in the food) - we resorted to eating breakfast out. We ordered food delivery one night, it had been delivered 15 minutes beforehand so I went looking & found it at hotel reception - no one bothered to call/deliver it to us. Rooms were not cleaned until late afternoons/early evenings, despite requesting in morning making it inconvenient for us wanting to use the room after being out all day. Dirty crockery not removed/replaced during room cleaning etc etc. If you want a lovely suite, happy to pay eye-watering rates and don't care about food/service then this is the place for you!

Stayed on 24&25th April and Yes this is our 2nd visit. We love the concept of the direct access from Villa to pool. Very convenient and safe for young children. The Villia is not really Big and the condition of the balcony requires some repairs and clean up.... Butters service are average cause it takes a long time to deliver our request including housekeeping service. However, staffs always friendly and nice. Food are very limited, we have to order from Grab. The biggest concern is the mosquitos!! It was really bad during our last stay as we were also bitten by Sandflies! Confirmed by Dr.. major Fumigation work needed!

Enjoyed my stay in the 2 bedroom beach villa. Its spacious, great amenities and very clean. Our family can stay in the villa for 2 whole days without stepping out(apart from buying food) as its a great place to chill and gathering with family. Caught by surprize that there is even a steam bath in one of the bathrooms. Love the private pool, with a Fantastic view, facing the sea, really get you out of the busy cities. The staff are all so friendly and nice, made you feel so welcomed. We had a great surprise welcome cake for father's day , nice balloons and a beautiful box of Janice Wong chocolates! Feel very touched by the special arrangement and gestures. Special mention to Willy the buggy driver, who is so hardworking, very friendly and kind. Feel so taken care of by him and also thank you to buggy driver kim chuan and service staff Irene. We will definitely be back again!

The key selling point is really just the aquarium in the room. There were hair in the bathtub which the staff explained that it was due to the gaps of the wooden planks covering the bathtub that caused it. We had to call for housekeeping 3x before they finally sent someone over to clean it. Location of villa is away from everything so if you want to dine out or go swimming, you will need to call for their buggy service. The plus point is their buggy service is very fast. Overall, its still a good stay but probably might not return again soon.
