β β β β β What a waste of my time! Didnt know ICBC dont open on Sunday, search the website and it shows Chinatown Point branch open on a Sunday and closes at 4.30pm, travelled all the way there at 12.45pm to find that its closed! Please update your operating hours on your website or Google search.

β β β β β The most slowest bank in the world. Thank you for making me cancle the credit card application. The words from you guys can change easily, 5 weeks for approval after that another 5 weeks. I will never ever suggest any of my friends and family members to choose this bank.... Stupid bank ever!

β β β β β As a regular customer here for my Fix Deposit account, I have to say they are the most inefficient bank. This bank is rarely crowded but I'm always spending about an hour waiting for them to open an account or to write a cheque back to me. With other banks, it's always a30 mins (max) wait to open or close a FD account. There's always no more than 10 customers in the bank so its puzzling how come they take such a long time to do anything.

β β β β β Staff was helpful but opening a new account takes about 30mins after doing the initial registration. Dual currency type so you can draw RMB out from ICBC atm in China at no additional cost. The only setback is that the atm card (debit card) cannot link to the wechat account. No fall below fee for this bank account except once a year there must be at least one transaction.

β β β β β I called bank support as cannot access bank web site from Firefox web browser.
Apathic voice from support answered "I have no idea". And dropped the call. And bank support never helped me.
Means if you deposit your money in this sh...y bank - you cannot access it online from abroad or anywhere and cannot manage your funds.
Do NOT trust this Chinese bank.

Negated my access to online banking without any reason, stating "my web browser is more advanced than ICBC system" and ICBC asked to downgrade my whole system including the web browser

β β β β β I cannot access to the personal banking from the Firefox web browser version 88.
Called ICBC support - they advised to downgrade whole system on my laptop because my browser is more advanced (!) and they only accept the version 44 which is much lower!
Nonsense by all banking standards and not acceptable.
ICBC never called back to satisfy my request and I cannot access to my funds via web.
That is ICBC Chinese negative orientation for clients.

Called back ICBC support - they rejected my online bank access. Nonsense, I have deposited my money, and they does not allow any access.

Coming for the last time to close my account with this bank.
The bank charges you for everything.
I think even if you get Rob and beaten up and stayed in hospital for mths.
The bank will still charge you for replacement card fee.
Came here..
And service is slow as ever.
Mostly you see old folks here.. entice by their high fixed deposit rate.....
And with time to spare just spending whole day waiting.
Came to close my account...
Since they insist I must make a transaction every one time a year...
I mean.. it is not difficult.
But when they send you letter to demand you do it....
Or they charge you admin fee....
My account is no below minimum balance.
If it is due to covid, they can choose to close the account and send a cheque to the registered address.
But they choose to fine you...
Which is quite a turn off for me...
Everything also they want to charge you.
I think.. I am better off sticking with other banks.

The most stupid and slowest serving bank not in Singapore but the whole world.
Firstly, u cannot take photo in the bank. He haven't even ask me what I want to take then he stop me.
So I have to go outside and take photo of the banner outside . Because I cant take photo of the brochure inside.
The last time I come , I waited 2 hours just to get served.
I can run to Maybank and UOB and my turn is not even up.
The banking services is really the slowest among all banks.
They simply just open 1 counter and expect everyone to wait like in China.
