β β β β β This is not a 5 stars sushi place @ tokyo ropppngi but certainly one of the best in Singapore and at a very reasonable price and quality of service even when they are at their full capacity , i love most of their food

β β β β β Still like visiting Ichiban occasionally to savour the variety of Japanese cuisines. They are great for their wide range of selections from sushi, tempura, curry, udon, ramen, to Dons, Nabes & Sukiyaki. Beef sukiyaki at $14.90 is served with 5 pcs of well marbled sliced beef thatβs really tender. Chicken Katsu curry portion size is value for money too & chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy & tender inside.

β β β β β Not bad. The food are fresh and services are good. Prices are reasonable too.
A couple of comments though. The mini Cha soba is too diluted. Doesnβt come with seaweed and wasabi unlike another Japanese restaurant that serves their mini Cha soba with seaweed and wasabi.
Secondly, they missed out 2 x Chawamushi and I paid for it anyway. Guess this one is my fault for not checking the receipt carefully before paying. However the restaurant should have also carefully take note of customers order.
Other than these, all other things are fine.

β β β β β Great service and amazing food. Beef udon, mentaiko potato salad and ikura chawanmushi looked unassuming but taste was ?. The beef was grilled perfectly and the grilling added a nice smokey flavour to broth. Mentaiko with potato salad is a genius combination, and every mouth is filled with ingredients with various textures. The chawanmushi was filled to the brim with a broth that went so well with the egg and ikura. Will definitely order these again on my next visit!

Came here on a weekday lunch. Waiting time was not too bad, food was good and portion was very filling too. Not too pricey given the quantity in their set meal, but really boils down to what you order. If you are not a huge eater, you can consider ordering their set meals and share it among 2 people. Will still fill you up and save costs too!
