β β β β β This is quite a sizeable outlet however I feel that there arenβt enough servers to go around especially during busy meal times. I could see that the staff were trying their best to accommodate to the long queue and also handling payment and clearing tables and bringing out food and drinks.
That aside, food is good and affordable as usual. The lunch set is very reasonably priced. Saba is well grilled! Crispy skin on the outside, moist and firm meat on the inside. I believe it was only $11 for the fish, rice, and soup. I recall the chawanmushi to taste better. Not sure if standard dropped.

β β β β β Been a great supporter of the Itacho brand since I discovered it at ION 4 years ago.
Their sashimi slices are relatively fresh and the taste is on point. However my recent visit to the branch at Bedok Mall was a little disappointing. I ordered the Tokujyou Chirashi with various sushi. Some of the sashimi was βflakyβ and βdriedβ indicating that it wasnβt as fresh as it should be. Nevertheless the non-sashimi dishes were yummy and worth the money.
Will definitely visit again for a quick Japanese food fix.

β β β β β Located on the Basement 2, Bedok Mall. Itachio offers fresh, quality sashimi. Must Tries: Fatty Salmon, Wagyu Beef, scallop sashimi. Expect to wait, especially during lunch and dinner time, diners have to queue for 15 minutes or more. The server is attentive although is a full house but they would keep refilling your tea. The overall experience is great for families and friends and will definitely dine the next time.

β β β β β Got served raw chicken tonight. When I brought it up to the server, it was as though it is a normal thing and brought back to reheat. Not a word of apology. Nothing wrong with the food at all.

But food is no good. Sushi rice is mashy. Chawamushi taste is not nice, soft shell crab too oily. Wonβt come again.
