β β β β β This is the Ichiho Premium Signature Sashimi & Bara Kaisen Don. What a mouthful. Literally. My random visit turned out to be surprisingly fulfilling. The unusually fun looking presentation was an eyeful as well. Not sure where to start, but overall quite shiok. Nice place too.

β β β β β Randomly walk around the place with my dad to look for where to have our lunch, and we happend to saw this Japanese restaurant.
It's not so packed and I decide to check on the ratings on Google map and realised the rating is not bad and we deiced to have our lunch here.
Very patient, polite and attentive staffs!
Food were great and they are flexible too.
They can change the Ichiho Special Tendon Donburi to Fried vegetables Tendon Donburi for flexitarian. ?
They opened last year Jan 2020 during covid time time they are currently having a promotion where you get 10% cashback where you can use for your next visit. But the validity is about 1 month only which is very fast and I don't eat Japanese food that often to come again next month. ? So passed the Cashback to the table sitting beside us so as not to waste it.

β β β β β Ambience ok. Ordered the supposedly biggest set i can find but didn't fill half my stomach ?. The fish meats were also not much.

β β β β β Ordered the chirashi don and was pleasantly surprised by the less conventional seafood toppings e.g. spicy marinated clams, ika sashimi etc.. which were fresh and went well together. Prices were also reasonable. Would have easily given a 4 star rating if not for the mushy and tasteless amaebi that spoilt it for me, strongly believe it was not fresh.
Would suggest for mgt to check the ingredient freshness regularly to avoid a repeat of my experience! Nevertheless wouldnβt mind a return visit when in the area :)

β β β β β Had it for the first time. The ambience is really chill and the food was great! Parking for the first 3 hours also free!!! You can actually relax and enjoy your food and company there. Had the Chef Recommended Maki, Ichihi Gyudon and the Salmon Donburi!!!Will DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

β β β β β After the change of management, the food quality has degraded. Premium Kaisen Sashimi Don was what I ordered but the fish doesn't taste fresh and the food is overly cold. The shrimp tasted frozen when served. The rice is very normal, it does not seem like it's sushi rice which is disappointing. The displaying of items also lack effort.

β β β β β Tried them about 4 times in a month. The unagi Don QC needs improvement. It went from great to good to average - it's the quality of the meat. The first time with the darkest grill tasted the best. Then it went downhill. The maki was good. Enjoyed the teppanyaki and karage too.

β β β β β The range of food offered is surprisingly wide. The dishes themselves are as appetising as the photos on the menu. The staff have good services and the ingredients are fresh. Will definitely be coming back for more.
