Imperial Treasure Steamboat Restaurant

I have visited this steamboat restaurant for years, even at their old location (which is now taken over by Jumbo). Service has always been key at this restaurant and quality of food. The staff saw that we had children with us and offered us a table with a room so that we could consume our food with the children having no extra disturbances. The soup broth is very thick and there is a big bone in it. I would think the broth beats a lot of steam boar restaurants hands down. The meats are much thicker than the usual steamboat chains too. Staff was very prompt in checking in with us at very comfortable intervals, be it topping up the soup for us or topping up our water. With no fanfare and noisy music, this would be a very suitable place to have steamboat with children. I would only wish that in the spirit of good hand hygiene, the chain would offer all customers anti bacterial wipes instead of passing such costs to customers. Most shops are offering such additional perks to customers to promote good hand hygiene too, and it would be great if the restaurant will consider this for customers.

Prices are really steep, so come in a group. $28 per pot for the cheapest soup (pork bone was good), and if you want a split pot, it’s +50% of the price for the second flavour. The online ordering system shows the seafood as 100g portions, but you actually have to order 700g minimum (approx $90). We ordered 1 kurobuta pork, 1 beef shank, 1 cabbage, 1 potato, 1 cuttlefish noodle, and the bill came up to $120. Madness —— My rating system: 5 = It was really awesome, and I keep thinking about it 4 = It was good, and I’m happy to come back 3 = It was unmemorable, but I could come here again 2 = I would probably discourage you from coming here 1 = I wouldn’t come back unless you paid me

Steamboat Ingredients were fresh and good. But after experiencing HDL superb service, the service here is very lacking. They hve us a big table and for short people like my family, we had to stand up a lot to cook and serve. Tiring…. Also, Staff not very proactive and always need to call them to top up the soup. Their service is super good only to clear empty plates. So if you are tired, don’t recommend coming here, but if you looking for quality I recommend.

Great to have especially on a rainy day. You can choose your sauce ingredients anyway you like. The geoduck was really fresh ..either as sashimi or a quick dip in the boiling soup. We usually have chicken soup but today we tried the shark cartilage and it was very good. Finish your steamboat with e mee pok mmmm ?

Shark Bone Soup (recommended by service crew, not on the menu) and the food were nice. the ambience was good and it’s spacious. the service was a bit odd where the service crews kept coming over in uncoordinated manner such that it’s way too often and too distractive to enjoy the meal time.?

This is high-class Steamboat, a wonderful authentic Singaporean experience. The ingredients were delicious: tasty, fresh and so wholesome. The staff was friendly and attentive and we were so fortunate to have one of the kind ladies come and help cook and serve us. This was really five star service. Highly recommended, especially if you have been shopping at Ion and are looking for a wonderful way to finish the evening.

Lunch set for 2 $68++ everyday provided ( they actually hide the promotion card. You have to ask waitress) Worth money to try as all the ingredients are very fresh some of are house-made. Very quiet place. Service was very good

Great steamboat place in ION Orchard, with excellent views of Orchard road. Decorations were done up quite classy. Wide variety of food, with superb cuts of meats. The pork belly and pork shoulder were exceptional good. There were many soup base to choose from. Service was good too. Prices were reasonable. Overall experience was very good. Definitely would go back again.
