TWG Tea at ION Orchard - #02-21 ION Orchard

Came on a monday evening (PH) and was quite full house and we waited about 15mins or so. Ambience is very chill and good place to chit chat. The ice cream milkshake was kind of gelat so probably more for sharing. The raspberry drink was quite sweet too. Had their jasmine queen tea which was refreshing. Only cons was somehow our cake order was forgotten and we had to remind them after 10-15mins of wait. Otherwise, would have given 5 stars.

Had to queue for more than an hour but it was all worth it. Superb quality food and excellent service. Good for high tea, delicious scones with the cream and jam spread.

Note: This is a non-halal restaurant. For muslim diners do check with the staff on the ingredients used. The staff is more than happy to advise. This is our first time dining here. A home grown boutique F&B that specialises is artisanal tea. Nice, classy ambience but you don’t need a suit and tie or glam dress to enjoy the experience. The wait staff who attended to us was polite and took the initiative to recommend me in detail, the suitable tea to go with my salad. I got the white tea, floral and not overwhelmingly rich which went nicely with my rich Smoked Salmon and Poached shrimp salad. I seriously love the salad! Interesting and delicious infused tea dressing and the portion was generous too. My mum had their lunch set: “Tuna loin crusted with Persian spices, served with a coriander and Padrón pepper coulis, accompanied by eggplant and Indian Night Tea infused bulgur” + “Colombia Morning Mist Tea” + “Earl Grey Fortune infused chocolate mousse topped with a hazelnut tuile and a scoop of mandarin sorbet, served with yuzu foam” The main dish was really good and the crust was packed with flavour. The tuna was perfectly cooked. The bulgur ties everything together perfectly. The dessert was luxurious. The masterstroke was that yuzu foam as it balanced the richness of the chocolate mousse. I get it the sorbet added freshness and cleanse your palate after devouring the sumptuous rich main. Will definitely return to try their tea time menu.

Food set up very nice, good place for meeting. Steak was nice and value $45/one. Deserts around $13-$20, for 2 people total spend $100-$150 ... Not bad at all because nice taste ? only waiting for foods come so long. I don't like to wait too long ?

First time trying TWG at the boutique cafe despite having their tea in various settings. It was also a pleasant surprise to know it TWG originated from Singapore, so #supportlocal sort of works here too! ? Ambience was really great, service was impeccable, and the selection was through the roof.. Scones were pretty good with the tea jelly too! ?? Will definitely return to try out more of their endless tea selection! Tea we tried so far: 1. Chocolate Earl Grey - very fragrant smelling tea with a chocolate and nutty smell, comes with a rather heavy tone while sipping on it though 2. Silver Moon - the vanilla fragrance shines though the moment you put that cup near your nose/mouth. It is however, light on the palette, as with most green tea.

Waiting time was very long, waited for half an hour outside and another 30 minutes in the take away area. However food was scrumptious and drinks are very refreshing!!! The mushroom soup which came with a bun was surprisingly my favourite. Would have given 5 stars if not for the long waiting time.

Located inside Ion. Not difficult to find the location inside the mall. Had a relaxing time there. The tea was good. A wide range of selection of teas- mind blowing to be exact. Various options for lunch, we had wonderful lunch there. Quite full after eating. Price was still reasonable. The service was acceptable too. It was a nice experience. Would definitely go back again.

It was a quiet afternoon Tuesday when I was there.. dint expect the waiters to take their time to explain the menu to me and intro the tea as well as I expected like a normal cafe.. food was serve quick.. they are more popular for their high tea timing so between 2 to 5pm there is a long line waiting to dine in. We went during 12pm and all is good. Tea was really refreshing bit hot water is not refillable. Had the jam for waffles and it was so good! They are also selling it too with other jam as well. Will be back again for tea session!
