★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in on the spur of the moment as could not find a table at short notice anywhere else. Were seated promptly and served politely and competently. The decor is somewhat sparse - no money has been wasted on anything more than the bare essentials. So if you are looking for a cozy atmosphere or a romantic meal, look elsewhere. Some of the dishes ordered were surprisingly nice, such as the onion bhaji or the vegetable samosas. Others such as the Indian take on French fries were a disappointment. The prices were fair, coming out at just under $50 for two and no alcohol. Having said that, we would probably not come back unless we were in the same situation again, as the lack of a nicer atmosphere and only average food outweigh the generally kind service and few nice dishes that we have had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly one of the best indian food that I have ever had for a long while. The chicken 65 was excellent, succulent pieces of chicken coated with spiced up batter and fried. A dish that you must not miss is the mama mia mutton, which is simply put, an explosion of flavours in your mouth.
*Updated* .. Unfortunately, 3 friends and myself all came down with COVID after 3 days of visiting this branch. Due to the simultaneous nature of the onset of symptoms, it is almost certain that we got infected at the premises. While good food quality is important, hygiene SOP and environmental cleanliness is an intrinsic factor running any eatery. Dropping the review to 1 star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the best north indian restaurants in the siglap/upper east coast area. Better than Chat Masala or Zaffron kitchen in my opinion; and less crowded too!
We had the usuals - butter chicken, palak paneer, lamb korma and okra - accompanied by a naan basket consisting plain,butter, garlic and peshawari naan.
The curries was smooth, not too salty and well balanced. The dish that stood out for me was the kamb korma!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn’t expect the serving size to be so limited. Plus 2 pcs of nana, we paid $38.50. I’ve been a frequent online food delivery user. As compared to other northern Indian restaurants, Indian Curry House are not getting any repeated customers for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Indian curry in Singapore! Highly recommended!! I always have this every Deepavali festival, or any day when I crave for Indian cuisine.. the curry is rich and thick; fish head is huge and can savor it to the last bone at home.
Here’s an advice from a seasoned customer: please plan for a longer waiting time during peak hours, and do not expect much from the service, just go for the food!!
