β β β β β Havenβt skated for a long time so I decided to pick it up again. Came to the store and Parmod served me :) He listened to my needs and also tries to cater to my budget. He is well versed in his knowledge and is very patient when explaining to me about the skates I am getting. Overall a very genuine guy to talk to and he is not pushy at all!

β β β β β Bought my Globe G2 Rapid Space from their website. Item received the very next day after ordering. Definitely authentic Globe. No damages/scratches either. Pricing is definitely cheapest among other places, and FYI it's because their do their own in house marketing and other factors.

β β β β β Great warehouse store stocked with a good selection of inline/quad skates and skateboards.
InlineX is one of the largest skate store in Singapore after the closure of Skateline and Inline Culture. Carries major brands like Powerslide, Rollerblade, Seba, FR, K2 and Flying Eagle inline skates.
Before visiting this warehouse store, I strongly suggest visiting their website to check for availability of your size(s) and brand/model before heading down as most of the common shoe/skate sizes are sold out (for their cheaper/popular skates).
Check for up to 1 full size to 1.5 size bigger that your regular shoe size if you are choosing hardboot inline skates. For softboot inline skates, check for half or one full size bigger than your regular shoe size.
Bring your own pair of socks and have at least 1 full finger 'room' at the rear heel to allow for your foot to 'expand' in the skates during long skating sessions. If you can fit 2 finger widths behind your heel, the skate is too big. Bigger is not better as it will be harder to use your 'outer' wheel edge. Too small and you might impinge a nerve in your foot when skating for over an hour.
From my shopping experience at the store, some InlineX staff will likely not be able to tell you specific performance and technical differences between brands and models other than obvious 'visible' differences and prices that you can see for yourself. Don't get upset or flustered.
InlineX staff lack proper product and accessories knowledge training and won't know full technical specifications. Fortunately, if you are interested in all these information, you can find out from their website or manufacturers' website.
If you are starting your inline skating journey and shopping for your first pair of skates or moving beyond your beginner skates, you will be fine with buying their lowest range or cheapest/on-sale skates as these are way better than non-branded Chinese skates.
If you are an intermediate inline skater (know all the basics including Tstop and can skate without rear brakes confidently), you will be spoilt for choice (assuming they have skates in your size). Be prepared to spend $200+ upwards to $400+ for extras like extruded frame, harder 85A wheels, ILQ7/9 or MW7/9 bearings, 8 mm axles, rockerable frame/axle, heat moldable foam, removable frames, and etc... if any of these features interest you.
In general, if you can't find your size (generally US7 to US10) for the brand/model you like and you really need a skate, check their higher model (with a higher price tag) and you will likely find them available.
Watch YouTube video reviews of specific brands/model inline or quad skates to appreciate more of what you are buying.
Don't spend more than you need if you are a novice or beginner skater at this store. The basic models will outlast your interest in skating unless you have a strong desire to be a highly proficient skater or interested in becoming a slalom or freestyle skating. In that case, look at Rollerblade Twisters, Powerslide, FRX/FR and Seba skates.
Check out accessories like FR luminous (LED) wheels. They are way cool for skating in evening and night! Check out the photo on the FR luminous LED wheels.
Powerslide Finger Bell for skaters are available.
Don't forget to grab a set of Powerslide protection guards. Other slightly cheaper brands are available but Powerslide guards are the best sold here and is reasonably priced ($45 for a full set for Small and Medium). Wrist guards are the most important guards that you will need, regardless of skill level, as these will prevent your arm from breaking during falls.
Start your inline and quad skate shopping here today! Pro tip: Bring your own pair of socks if trying on skates.
Highly recommended!
