Cozy laid back food center. Fish soup stall is the popular stall with many Q'ing. Not a well known food center like Bedok Food Center. The atmosphere at Kukoh is laid back. Worth a visit at least once.

This is where the locals eat breakfast. Authentic taste and price. This was how I remembered things used to be decades ago. Except it's even cleaner now, and they have lots of fans running to keep the air circulating so it's comfortable even though there is no AC. We ordered a total of 3 dishes and tea: Cha bee Hun, Kwe Tew with soy sauce, and Yun Tofu. Delicious.

$3 Pork Noodle and $4.5 fish soup with lots of fresh fish damn good. The place you must come early as some stall start to wash and close at 12pm

Jalan Kukoh Food Centre is a food centre I go after my visitation of TCM in Chinatown. It's a place that caters to the HDB area and community here. The coffee and toast is what I have during the afternoon. It's prepared on the spot and served pretty fast from the Coffee Aroma shop. They also have a very nice traditional teochew kuey shop there. The traditional wanton noodle is quite tasty too.

When I 1st got to know my gf 30+ years ago (who is my wife now), she brought me here for breakfast and subsequently her favorite must have local delicacy, Teo Chew Pig Organ Soup. Ever since then, we spent quite a bit of our life enjoying various food from various stalls, some had long gone and some I can't recall. We watched it being renovated again and again, new stall came in and old stall call it a day. However, my wife's favourite Teo Chew Pig Organ Soup still remained. Recently, I went back alone a couple of times and found a new gem, Teo Chew Fishball Noodle. They are there for quite some times already but we didn't really try it. The auntie cook 1 of the best timed noodle in sg, perfectly done, the taste is perfect to my taste too. So, 2 must try stall for your next visit.

At 11am most of the stalls are closed but was able to have the bak cho noodles and braised intestines and skin. They were tasty, nothing fantastic. But the best dish was surprisingly the Handmade Char Siew paus. They were excellent ? ? ?. Have to go back for that and buy more.

Pig Organ Soup 2 persons shared 1 bowl and surprisingly we were still very full due to the huge servings. Ingredients: liver, kidney, meat balls, pork slices, pig skin, preserved veggies. Soup is tasty and creamy flavoured by tons of pig skins. The uncle owner is super friendly as well.

Superb tasting teochew fish soup. This simple looking fish n prawn bowl of soup is out of this world. Fish and prawn are cooked to perfection. One of the stores I will go back for comfort food.
