Jane & Lee Sembawang Family Clinic - 483 Admiralty Link

This is my first and the last time visiting the clinic. Ive kept in my mind for quite sometime but i think i should share with everyone who might want to visit. I read the reviews and a lot of people say the doctors are very nice and friendly. Well i did not have that much of a good experience. So here is the story, i had high fever from monday to tuesday. I did feel better after some rest and medications but i needed an extra day rest, hence i need medical certificate(MC). So i went to the clinic early wednesday morning, 8.25am and registered and waited. The doctor came in at 9pm, kind of late. I guess he owns the clinic so i have to accept it. After much waiting time, i went in. So i told the doctor that i had fever since monday. After he checked on me, he told me he is going to give me some medicine and an MC for the day. I told him that i do not need the medicine just the MC will do. Not finishing what i wanted to say. He said that he do not sell MC, with a smirk on his face. He also told me that i should find another doctor that would even sell MC at a lower price and not come here again. I find it rude? Dont you think? What is he trying to implement to me? Is he trying to say he wont give me the MC unless i get the medications along with it? Or maybe i can foul play my sickness away and "buy" MC? Or what? So i replied that i have some medications back at home as my mom works at a clinic not far from there. Therefore, having extra medications was not needed as it would cost me more and not finishing will result in wasting it. So the doctor was a little shocked and tried to remain calm and say that i need to understand that he wanted to give medications to his patients will make them recover fast and many more obvious reasons. So that clinic, isnt a nice place or teenagers/young adults? Maybe the doctor treat differently? Or maybe just a personal attack? I know it is something small but nontheless, if you feel that the doctor is good then its good to go. Im just sharing my own experience. By the way, the clinic assistant at the front desk is very friendly and organised. Thank you!

clinic at 750483. dr jane yong was caring, patient and explained my condition in detail. hard to come by a good doctor in sembawang. will be coming here from now on. there might be a queue so it is a good idea to come right before opening hours.

Our family doctor since we moved to Sembawang in 2003. I will go for Dr Jane for female check up like HPV test and PAP smear. But both doctors are nice and patient. Really appreciate they are here all the while for our family and neighborhood. Thank you !

All this while the doctors were OK and nice. Had a terrible experience today with a doctor wouldn't visit the clinic if the doctor was there again.

I called first before going down.. before asking straight away say we have many patience now. If you come down doctor ask u take the swab must pay $30… hellooooo… doctor haven’t see me and you can tell me this… what a bad service

The prices have increased Significantly these past years. The couples doctors are okay Staff clinic are ok .. never encounter rude ones before

I have consulted Doc Lee last evening, 29 June , this was my first time visit, he was very detailed of explaining my possible diagnosis likely slipped disc n given some professional advise to me and he was very patient as I was in pain n not in a very clear mind to explain my illness to him, luckily with my help of my husband for the detailed. After taken the prescribed medicine, I really feel much much better, the pain has gone. Thank you Dr Danny Lee for prescribe the right medicine to me.
