★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My comment : most horrible hongkong milk tea ??! I have tried the Parkway Parade and Plaza Singapura outlets with better standards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is expensive and average (as with all other joyluck outlets) but the service at this outlet is good and compared to other joyluck outlets, the food from this outlet is prepared better. I get the hot HK milk tea regularly. The iced version is quite diluted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought the luncheon meat bolo bao at the Bishan outlet this morning with a cold ice milk tea.
The bolo bao was just terrible. the bun was cold , and really tough and chewy. I took out the luncheon meat and ate it with 2 pieces of gardenia bread instead
Milk tea was serviceable. Last time I'll be patronizing Joy Luck has didn't have a good experience with their egg tarts at another outlet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoying these now. Our friend just swung by & gifted us a box of this 蛋挞. The egg custard filling was just right, not overly sweet & still warm from the oven. Nice, with a cuppa tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've lived in Hong Kong for eight years and had been missing egg tarts for a while. Recently found this place and their egg tarts are simply wonderful. They make for great gifts as well because the packaging is so nice. I also tried their almond milk infused with collagen and it's so yummy! They've got quite a selection of other items and can't wait to try them all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was intrigued by the new flavours of Chee cheong fun this place is selling and bought the 2 new flavours- curry and mala.
I wonder if the person approving the mala version usually eats at maximum spiciness for mala hotpot. When I and my partner tried it, it was super spicy for us. Thankfully we could tahan it but it’s really just spiciness.
The curry version was better, resembling the curry sauce that McDonald’s serve for its nuggets. It goes well with Chee Cheong fun.
Please be careful where you put your food when paying! I saw a customer mistaking the width of the counter and dropped a precious box of the pastries on the floor while fumbling with his bags of purchases.
Shop was quite nice, gave him a new box of pastries even though no fault of theirs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a box of egg tarts (pastry skin) and chee cheong fan set with milk tea. Egg tarts are delicious and egg custard is not too sweet. Chee cheong fan sauce has a hint of peanut paste but not as thin for my liking. Milk tea taste just like the ones in HK but it’s too sweet. Minus one star for the pricing which could be cheaper.
