Lousy experience..place is sort of external so draws aircon from the mall which is not sufficient on a long day..I think it mostly pulls in crowd from the other busy restaurants like Menya Kokoro next to it as waiting is not there or quite less.Ordered a pork+chicken Don which said "spicy".Waited almost 40 mins for it and got a lackluster bowl of white rice(when asked for grain) and some industrial grade fried fillets of pork and chicken. Both had absolutely no flavour or seasoning..far from spicy. Many people got their orders wrong and the server was explaining to them, and most were too polite to say no.. Eventually walked to Burger King and had a filling(albeit unhealthy) meal in under 15 mins.

Sister restaurant of the very popular Tendon Kohaku (right next door). They have a great deal going on, $13 for a katsudon bowl with pork and chicken. Slightly salty, value for money.

Decent portion for the current price. The multigrain rice was good, the seasoning of the katsu was good. The brown sauce with egg tasted weird. It does not go well with the dish. The miso soup was really average. Worth a try but if the brown sauce remains, probably not worth a second shot unless you like it.

Ordered the spicy Pork and Chicken Katsu Don. Wasn't expecting such a big meal! In total, there was about 6 pcs of Katsu?! We struggled to finish it. They only serve Katsu Don mainly with the choice of spicy and non spicy. I like that they have the option of multi grain rice. The Katsu itself is super tender! Surprised to see something fried to crispy perfection yet tender within (imagine breast meat). Super yummy. We dined in on a weekday at 2.30pm and the place was empty. Service was prompt and attentive.

Ordered the pork and chicken bowl... damn good la!! Shiok until limpeh forget to take photo (got half eaten pic better than no have right?) Batter on each piece of meat is thin and crunchy, jin song! If you big eater, i recommend add rice for $1. It's a combination of GREAT taste and JIAK JIN SONG! 10/10 would recommend your father mother ah ma ah gong

Portion is good. Price is reasonable. Enjoyed every bite of the katsu! Tricky part is the opening timing but definitely worth it! Ordered the miso soup and the iced green tea too. Will come back again!

The one and only main you can order here is the pork and chicken katsudon (option for spicy, mixed brown rice available). The katsus were not too large, easy to handle with chopsticks. However, they were a tad dry (probably the chicken was using breast meat). Not too ex, overall not bad. Ice green tea was refillable.

Hana Katsudon's chicken and pork katsu were thinly sliced and batter was crunchy. The sauce on the rice was crazy salty, but maybe I just caught the chef on a bad day. Personally still prefer the traditional Katsudon by a mile, but this was an interesting take.
