Kenaris Salon - 501 Orchard Rd

Terrible experience. Do NOT go there. The artistic director was just really bad. She has no clue how to do a bob. Just not switched on. When you pay 135 dollars for a haircut you expect more than someone not even able to tell you what length your hair should be to suit your face. Told her I wanted something easily manageable. Ended up with hair Just above my chin which is really not flattering and she told me that I should iron them otherwise they would ride up too much. Everything I did NOT want. And she did not even suggest to do something to help like a keratin treatment... so now after a wash it’s like terrible terrible and I juste have to wait. I went to chez vous before and there, they have proper hairdressers able to advise you and cut your hair to flatter your face. They know what they are doing. That’s what I expect when I pay so much just for a haircut. Not a clueless person asking if she should cut 2 mm more or less...Do not call yourself an artistic director, you are not even a good My mistake I wanted to try something else I definitely should not have.

Definitely would recommend, especially if you can still book in for their August “anniversary promo”- best price in Singapore for cut & color, INCLUSIVE of processing (bleach.) I sent a few pictures ahead and Alston fit the brief exactly. Everyone from reception to shampoo to drinks was super friendly and made the long appointment (5+ hours) go by swiftly.

Excellent. We started on time, the haircut by Pauline was like I wanted it and quick, no hidden fees at the end. I recommend it! Just one thing: make sure to remove the water from the ears after washing the hair, it's more comfortable.

Just went there for the first time and I'll definitely come back ! My previous stylist in another salon totally failed my haircut and I was looking for a hair salon who could fix it, when I discovered this place. Alston did an amazing job, and transformed the totally messed up haircut into a perfect result ! Could be a little expensive when choosing a director stylist but you will definitely have the quality corresponding to the cost ! And not only with your stylist but with all the staff of the salon. An excellent place that I highly recommend!

Ken give good advice on how to change my hairstyle. Now there are promotions going on too.

Came here for the first time , Tinz was my stylist, he was very good and informative about what look would suit my looks, loved what he did to my hair. Would highly recommend him!

Great experience! Cut, colour, curl, wash! Get it all done here! ❤️ Been washing cutting curling moisturising my hair with summer at kenaris for over a year. What I can say is I always receive care, warmth and love once I step into the salon and I leave feeling recharged, refreshed and renewed. I also get recommendations from my ideas and am able to fine tune them with summer so that I finally receive what suits me best. I’ve been to various barbers and salons and I frequently feel kinda lost and insecure after the cuts etc, but here I always feel I’m about to meet friends and get my hair looked after. That’s the unique feeling I have here. ? Thank you for being the best hairstylist and salon ever ?‍♂️!!!
