Brought our 14 month old here because she was wheezing and gasping for breath and our usual Paed was closed on Sunday. Worst decision ever. We were especially concerned because she had had a bronchitis episode a few weeks ago and needed a nebuliser, so because she was clearly having another bronchitis episode, we wanted to get to a doctor ASAP. Dr Ho spent barely any time diagnosing her (eg briefly listened to her lungs and said “hmm sounds like she has difficulty breathing” which anyone could have diagnosed without a stethoscope), gave her some generic drugs for runny nose and sent her off. She seemed distracted and more interested in noting down my husband’s occupation than our wheezing baby. Not one to complain about the price especially on Sunday where you would expect clinics to be expensive, but $60 consultation was a complete waste of money. We should have just gone to KKH, paid more and gotten proper care. Today is Monday and we went back to our usual Paed who said our baby has “very bad bronchitis” (look at the difference in diagnosis and severity), came up with a treatment plan in case it happens again, and sent us home with a nebuliser.

I knew the reviews are poor before my visit, but don’t really any choice as the regular clinics I visit are all closed on Sunday, but I really didn’t expect that poor. From the moment me and my girl went in, the doctor literally didn’t listen to whatever I tried to tell her, instead doing background check on me and my wife, eg our age and occupation etc. The only thing she asked was what happen on my girl and once I said fever (without going into any other details), she already write down the medications she think it’s needed. At that point, no temperature check, no listening to baby chest or back nothing. Worse still, she wrote down my girl temperature of 37 degree without any check at all, and told me her temperature was ok. I informed her that there’s no temperature take at all and how would she know it’s 37, then only she did the check, and it’s 38.3. She still managed to say “oh now it becomes higher”. The only thing she kept repeating is, “you have this and that at home already so you don’t need, you sure?” Yea at that point of time the only thing I wanted to do was get out of this clinic, I had have enough really. Without any bias and purely based on my experience, I don’t recommend any parent visiting this clinic, even if you had desperate case. Go KK Hospital, go to the emergency clinic, anywhere else, you will need to wait but you won’t get such poor service.

Visited to enquire if they did covid tests or sold covid test kits for infants. Little one at home was having a fever and we were wondering if we should test just in case… Receptionist was so rude and said they don’t want kids with covid at the clinic. Hello???!!?? What’s the point of opening a clinic then? Please don’t open a clinic or work at one if you don’t want sick kids around.

An absolute joke this Dr. is still practicing. Her mind is half gone - asked what my son's name was about 3 times in the 10 mins we spoke to her and asked how old he was 4 times. She kept on making an effort to keep repeating his full name over and over and over and over again like some mad woman. She does not listen at all to what you try to explain to her, more interested in the parents' occupation than the condition of the child (her patient). Still don't know what my occupation has to do with anything. Rude and extremely slow receptionist. Very unprofessional set up and etiquette. I only came her as a last resort on a Sunday but i vow never to return. The WORST medical experience for my child i've encountered.

The doctor seem friendly with kids, but we had difficulties communicating with her during the consultation. She keep ignoring our questions and answering things we didn’t ask. For instance, my kid had pretty strong reaction to insect bite which led to huge swelling at the bitten area. We asked if it’s an allergic reaction. She replied something totally unrelated like don’t buy the bigger tube of ointment. But in the end the medicine she gave was effective. We went for 2nd opinion at our regular paediatrician, whom verified that it was due to an allergic reaction to the insect saliva. Anyway I give 3 stars as the medicine works and her consultation price is very economical (half of what a normal paediatrician is charging, but less than double of a normal GP). But the communication part is an issue for us.

Brought my daughter to see the doctor, as we suspected she has HFMD. Set the context for Doc (we understand how doctors are busy, and try not to waste their time). Doc cut me off and said not to hurry. Drew a family tree on my daughter's info sheet, and started asking qns on our jobs and if she's a single child, and which hospital she was born in. Is this her way of trying to better understand us, I have no idea. When she finally got to asking what happened, we tried to explain her condition (mild fever the last night, and rashes on hands and feet). 1. Doctor did not ask to take her temperature. 2. Doctor asked to check her hands, and when my daughter cried and tried to remove her hands (stranger anxiety), she was exasperated and said she "cannot see/check". 3. Doctor went into her supplies room and told us that she has no supplies for the medicine. She mentioned that there are spots on my child's feet but it is not clear if she has HFMD. 4. Doctor kept repeating that she can try to order medicine supplies. It's a sunday, not possible to get supplies. She will try but the supplier may not have stocks. 5. With regards to points 3 and 4, it is very disappointing to hear. We came because we aren't the experts, but whatever she said is not assuring. We were initially open to picking up any medicine she may have, another day. But her responses just signalled to us - lets try to see another doctor who can help for our case. I'm just very surprised that there's no medicine to help my child? And she was very ready to drop our case. 6. We shared with doctor that we have some paracetamol at home which aided in relieving the fever. The instructions as per polyclinic said every 6-hourly. She cut us off, said that as per protocol, should be every 4-hourly. We appreciate that she gave her suggestions, we aren't here to argue, but it was the manner that she shared that really made me feel unwelcome 7. Seeing that there is no help for our case, we decided to leave. Doctor mentioned that "as a token...", consultation fees will be charged, and we will just pay $30. At this point, all we wanted to do, is to leave, and never be back. In all honesty, it's upsetting that there's no proper diagnosis since she said she cannot assess my child who was struggling throughout the examination (she tried to shine a torchlight into my child's mouth to see the ulcer, and barely touched her hands to see the little spots). No proper diagnosis, no medication, no assurance.

This is one of the worse experience. Doctor is a nice lady but she repeated the same questions (“do you want the cream?”) and statements (“the uncle in the market opened his stall until 10pm and he was very nice to sell us cloth diapers”) at least 8 times each! When I told her that she already asked me the same question many times, she said she don’t remember. She also did not check my daughter’s diaper rash properly, claiming that she had seen many rash bums. We had to see another PD after her and turns out that my daughter had fungal rash instead of the usual. I am not sure which organisation to flag this up to but I am suspecting age is catching up with her…

It was an upsetting experience for us. Please see all google review before visiting this clinic. We brought our 2yo with some skin related issue on her thigh and tummy area. The Dr only treated her thigh & said her body was fine without properly examining. But my 2yo body had flaky /dry skin. And she would always scratch herself while sleeping at night. But we didn’t get any treatment on that and Dr insisted it was fine. Then Dr started explaining on the medicine she was prescribing & mentioned it will take 4 weeks to recover. So, I asked “how often should we applied?” Dr sounded annoyed and said “I’ve already told you earlier “. what she told me was how long it takes to recover NOT how frequent it we should apply. I did mentioned my 2yo is at a full day childcare & if the medicine needs to be applied more frequently then the teachers would need to help. Dr said “ Don’t expect the Teachers to help you with your daughter’s problem”. She made it sounds like we are such irresponsible parents by pushing the responsibility to the Teachers. I felt we were judged. Then Dr asked us why our 2yo is still wearing diapers not once but TWICE! I couldn’t really gave an answer when she 1st asked us. Then she asked us again putting us in a difficult spot. I felt she is just putting us down or shaming us for letting our 2yo wearing diapers. Again, we were judged. Then she went on repeating the same thing over and over again. The medicine (cream) was $10 but her consultation was $60. The “consultation” we had was being shamed by Dr, repeating the same thing over & over again by Dr … To all parents, to avoid any humiliation from this Dr, avoid this clinic. I would rather go to any GP than visiting this clinic ever again!
