β β β β β A rare occasion that I step in Killiney and even more rare that I ordered a Malay dish there... ?Ayam Penyat at Killiney Downtown East at $8... tender chicken and tasty gravy with chilli.

β β β β β Nice clean ambience, and great vibes from the lovely family running this cafe (they started early Aug). I did find the 'milo gao' thinner and the cups cute but smaller than we are used to, from the Heavenly Wang which used to stand here.

β β β β β Decided to have Sunday breakfast here. Service was pretty quick and our dishes arrived within 10 minutes. The toast could have been grilled longer, but I guess they were rushing the food out. The eggs were okay.
I ordered nasi lemak with chicken wings after seeing the previous reviews, but it did not really taste that
Great. The chicken was in pieces and lacked seasoning, while the rice did not have the lemak taste.
The fried egg and ikan bilis were okay.

β β β β β Disappointing lunch at Killiney. Always had such good memories of this chain but I am not sure I will go back. I ordered the Pork Chop with noodles and I barely touched it. The pork chop tasted of old oil and was so bland. The mee siam my wife ordered was so tasteless and watery. The coffee was still good but an overall underwhelming experience.

β β β β β Killiney serves good foods. However, after 5 normally your could not enjoy Mer Siam as it has been sold out. Hope the management could reduce the customer disappointment.
