Been standing outside the restaurant where the signboard for almost half and hour without anybody attention us or tells us where to be seated at least. The crew were walking here and there but none of attended to us. Customer service fail. You guys have good food but bad customer won't help you either. Really disappointed.

B	Blue J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time going - quite disappointed. During the meal, the waitress(es) almost always had their backs to the customers so there's no use of ? if we needed anything. When they do see us, they are nice, polite, and prompt. We didn't order/took a lot because of these things: - We ordered fried fish skin (portion rather big) and they were soggy af. - The mentaiko sushi from the sushi lane - there were 6 of them on the plate - stuck to each other, and when I finally was able to separate them, the rice stuck to the plate (=.="). - In the middle of the dining in, there were some smoke (?) from grilling (?) and it suddenly choked a lot of people in the restaurant.. took us a few minutes and coughs to get over it. - Pretty sure I saw a lot of "fast" sushi like the jellyfish, wakame, inari sushi, but not so much of an actual sashimi on top of the normal sushi rice itself. I did see one unagi sushi though. The curry, ebi tempura, breaded scallop, gyoza was normal, thankfully.
C	Coach Amirrudin Ong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went in 620pm at 720pm, 2 out of 5 orders not out. 1st wave came only at 650pm, soba and water. At 7pm, kids and main meal came. I billed at 720pm. Looking around, I saw a lot of delivery orders as shown in the photo and could see only 1 or 2 chefs inside. Sashimi order is not fresh. Sword tail has fishy smell, Ju Unagi taste weird and its rice seems to be from microwave for some reasons or rather, whole Ju is microwaved. I think they are really short of manpower in the kitchen and thus, gave a box of N95 mask as to compensate for the poor dinning experience. However, the staffs and service are really good. No questions for that. 5 stars for that but 1 star for food.
B	Bro Isk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to patronised Hei Sushi and a big fan. Was wondering why the outlet at Downtown East having 3 stars. After a sour episode experienced by one of the female staff at 3.15pm on our 11th wedding anniversary day, 26 Feb 22. I guess this outlet deserve a 1 star service. I guess this is gonna be my last visit until Hei Sushi do something about their customer service.
N	Nur Rashidah Amren on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still the best halal sushi restaurant to go to after all these years. Its the consistency in food quality. And oh! So in love with the mentaiko! Forever attentive and friendly staff. Hei Sushi at its Pasir Ris outlet never let us down. All thumbs up! Thank you to the good service and good food.
