β β β β β One of my favourite dinner spot to eat at!!
My go to is always the Chicken cutlet set with salmon rice. The rice is so tasty and the chicken cutlet is really crispy and juicy! Such a simple but delicious meal! I really love the side dishes as well such as the miso soup, cabbage and radish!
Minus 1 star because of the long queue and very very slow service :( Waited quite long for the table and waited at least 30 minutes for the food to come due to slow service. Do come earlier to avoid the crowd!!

β β β β β Pretty decent and the food is flavorful. Howeverβ¦ the rice portion is quite little as compared to the images. With that, the quantity may be sufficient for a lady but not for a gent.

β β β β β This place always crowded during meal period, even on weekday. I suggest to come outside meal time, otherwise please expect > 10 mins time.
They offer set menu, and we can choose rice that we would like to. They have 3 type of rice and 1 type seasonal.
Price is reasonable since it is inside Nge Ann city and aircon area. It is between S$ 8-25. The one in photos are S$ 16-17 per set including tea.
The rice consistency is close to sticky rice, whilst the other item (chicken, miso) are pretty standard in taste (nice but not stand out). I will say the highlight of the meal is the rice itself.

β β β β β Cashier is quite slow and curt, but food is nice. Their specialty lies with multiflavoured glutinous rice, which matched well with fish and other side dishes. Rice has subtle umami flavours, and is deeply satisfying

β β β β β Ordered chicken set and the tray came without the chicken dish. Asked for clarification with 2 waiters and they are unclear until I have to mention very plainly that I ordered chicken set and there is no chicken on the tray and he hurried to check with the kitchen. Funny that it never occured to the person that the tray is no completed before serving to the customers.

β β β β β Weekend lunch wait was pretty ok. It did take abit of time for the meals to be served. Ordered black vinegar chicken shokado set with scallop rice and chicken teriyaki set with salmon rice. Both were reasonably good. They too put in effort for the side dishes which were pretty tasty. Certainly can consider this a place for a quick meal before continuing shopping.

β β β β β Tasty and unique glutinous rice. Japanese style standard fare presented in a bento fashion.
Waiting time can be abit long considering its a casual joint, maybe about 20 minutes. Went in about 2.10PM.
Anyway that is not too much of a big deal, main thing is some of the items are quite special and worth to try.

β β β β β Nice casual open dining ambience if u want to see and be seen. The rice here is special and mixed with different ingredients. Most people will be attracted to the types of rice. The dishes which accompanied the rice is quite standard teriyaki style of meat and fish. But the overall combination is still nice.
This stall has been here so many years and they their own fan base. Overall it is pleasant and one of the places that we frequent occasionally based on familiarity and what we use to dine in casually.
