★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short queue at busy night. The restaurant is packed but that is alright. Order the Cheese kasame katsu set and salmon set along with chawanmushi. Both are tasty, but can be better. Gonna try other options next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fulfilling and delicious Tonkatsu and Ebi Fry, except for the tsukemono and soup, in my opinion. The Kewpie sesame salad dressing goes very well with the free refill cabbage or you may eat it with the Tonkatsu sauce as usual.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best Tonkatsu in SG now. This branch is much better than the Shaw House one. Crispy, moist, and super tender, the hire katsu will surely leave an impression in your mouth. The sides - rice, cabbage, sauces - were fine as well. They also had interesting fusions such as mentaiko pork katsu. Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Iberico set and the normal Rosu. Taste weird with an overly reused frying oil…doesn’t justify for the amount paid. The man supposedly store manager was rude when we asked for a receipt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe my fifth to sixth time here but always always highest quality katsu, cabbage salad and service!! My only go-to tonkatsu restaurant! On par with very good tonkatsu restaurants I visited in Japan!

On a side note, so great to have refillable rice, but wasn't sure if their miso soup is also refillable...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very very good katsu. The pork is thick, juicy and tender. It's cooked to perfection, not raw at all but also not too cooked while the breading is rightfully crispy. I just wish the portion of the katsu is much bigger. The fried oyster is also the same, cooked to perfection. The cold soba is just right in both taste and texture. The sesame salad dressing is standardly good. The curry is succulent and aromatic but not overly so. Chawan mushi is silky smooth and soft while retaining perfectly controlled konbu taste and smell.
The ambiance is very traditional Japanese with wooden tone everywhere. The interior is done very well it gives somewhat luxury impression. Seems like the joint is quite popular that usually there's some queue.
Expensive? A bit.
Would I return? Of course, in a heart beat.
