Kueh & Mee - 63 Jurong West Central 2

Absolutely terrible signature dish (yes, apparently macncheese?), I was curious about their recommended dish and it looked nice in the me u pics but what I recieved was a disappointment in a bowl. Watery, flavourless, overcooked with bits of canned ham and canned blanched mushrooms. At the price of 10.70 for the set meal! My 10 year old child can make better macandcheese than this with a boxed product. Highly not recommended, just look at it. Asking for a little less ice in my drink also costed me more? Didn't give one star, gave two because ...maybe not every dish is terrible, giving benefit of the doubt. Edit: Change to one star, decided to give it a try again today to see if anything changed- nope, same old thing but made even worse by the rude indian guy at the counter who was extremely dismissive (not only to me but also to the couple who were in front of me) to customers and too busy chatting up his female colleagues.

Well ... this is my second visit for the same reason , ya kun had a long queue First was for their curry/bread set . Second for breakfast. As you can see from the picture attached they're really not good with their eggs . That's just a short while more before they can use a hard boiled egg for their mee Coffee is really too sweet for my tastes. I felt the sugar drying my throat as it went down and it actually overpowered the after taste of the coffee . Bread was acceptable..not exactly going to save the meal though. But that's not why I gave this one star Noticed from other reviews of a lady with glasses offering" exemplary service " More than one lady with glasses were very willing to raise their voices at customers . No one wants to start their day before their coffee getting shouted at . Especially not when they're paying for it. This is not a place you want to start your day with. From my experience it appears they're really disorganized. Workflow is messy. Staff appear confused at times , take orders wrongly and sent some confused staff out to the front for clearing tables of customers who had to wave them away . Too many times staff seen offering colleagues advice on what should be done like they're all new to the job . Whoever is in charge of operations and workflow needs training if not replaced

Decent food at very affordable prices. I had the curry with bread but I was rather disappointed with the amount of bread given. Only 1 slice cut into two. Unfortunately, it isn’t spicy so if you’re not a fan of spicy food, this curry is perfect for you. My friend had the laksa which was good. We also had Kuih Lopes and the Ondeh-ondeh cake as desserts. The kuih lopes could be sweeter overall but that’s just me. The ondeh2 cake is really good and the portion is big for a slice. If I were to order a similar cake from a hipster cafe it’ll probably cost me $2-3 more so it’s worth the price!

Health issue concern! Food (serve in plastic bowl) was HEAT UP IN MICROWAVE OVEN. I don’t know why. There are 2 micro oven in the kitchen. I never trust plastic in microwave even it stated microwave. If u understand micro radiation. U will know. Avoid it

"If you wish to experience good service and good food, don't expect it from the team nor the food here." The team here have got poor service attitude, lack of empathy and no smiles. If you wish for a happy weekend or morning visit, skip this! Not worth it. *(Especially if you're bringing young children) My experience with the team of staff were overall very bad. We had ordered toast set, French toast, mee rebus meal for our breakfast. The incident happened when I had to take care of my 2 young kids while my husband was away to the washroom. My son (3 yrs old) had accidentally slipped off the sofa chair and his leg had knocked onto the table, there after... our toast bread were unfortunately flew to the ground. This happened while I was feeding my younger child who is 10 months old on another high chair. Right this moment, I wish someone would help! But... There were two stunned staffs from Kueh & Mee standing at the side silently. This caught me off guard with the way they reacted - as NO ONE offers help nor service at this point. It was silent. They took the toast which had fallen on the ground away, no one ask if anyone was even hurt, no one ask if they could probably re make one or two piece toast for us and no one ask anything. At this point. I felt hurt and sad with purely - THE SERVICE. I then tried again, I went to the counter and check if we could probably had another toast due to the accident earlier on, but the lady who was making coffee had a straight response, she said "NO." And... It was silent. And then.. I walked away with much dissatisfaction with NOT THE FOOD, BUT THE SERVICE. We are okay to pay for another meal, but after all these, its sad to say... The service standards are very bad! To the superior or the management of the organization - do reconsider on your staff training. Refer to the photo of your team members for today's incident. Especially - the coffee lady, who is usually managing the staff counter (beside the cashier).

Based on the other reviews, it seems that you should refrain from ordering their food except for the kueh. Ordered the curry chicken and the chicken were rather bland, it feels as though they have boiled the chicken. Moreover, the rice were undercooked. The only thing acceptance were the kueh and the teh.

I was surprised by so many negative reviews for this restaurant. The food is delicious and affordable. There is no service charge, so we have to collect food by ourselves. Service is not top notch, but it is acceptable since the price is cheap. For the food, mee siam is on the spicy side. Becareful if you cant eat spicy food. I enjoy the curry chicken.
