Rude owner, rude staff. You would think that a shop that sells premium goods would focus on customer service, but it is frankly abysmal here. The competition at ISETAN gives this place a run for its money, better quality, competitive prices and friendlier staff.

Have bought 3 hampers from this shop thus far and several expensive musk melons on occasion but never once have I felt welcomed by the staff. Special shout out to the boss for shouting at my friend for trying to take a picture. There was no signboard at the time, most ppl would be shocked when seeing luxury Japanese fruits for the first time and tried to take a picture??? (A ruby roman was on display fyi) He could have talked to my friend nicely, practice some empathy??? The experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I bought my Ruby roman from Isetan in the end where the sales staff were more than pleasant to help me out. (At least for that 10 minutes I felt like I was in a luxury establishment).

The shop may sell premium fruits but the service is definitely not. Unless you mean premium bad. The auntie sales give you nasty looks and is not interested in your business. I guess she only wants Japanese customers. If I can give negative star I will! Don’t waste your time / money here. There are other fishes in the sea.

Bought a box of Tamura Mikan in a red box for $88 and it turns out all of them are sour. Every single one. NTUC oranges are sweeter. I am v v v disappointed.

If I could give this store negative stars I would!!! Went yesterday wanting to buy strawberries, but the staff couldn't be bothered to acknowledge or assist. When finally got the staff attention, I asked which variety is sweeter, she said "all about the same". When I asked which variety has better quality flavour, her answer is "all about the same". Then an elderly customer came up (who was better dressed than I was), the aunty asked "which is sweeter", and the staff immediately answered "this one". So I asked the staff "why couldn't you have told me this one is sweeter when I asked?" She said "Because you were standing at the other section (where the cheaper variety ones were displayed)". So not only is the staff to lazy to introduce the products, but have an inert talent for insulting customers at the same time! While happily serving the aunty, I walked away to Cold Storage and bought 5 packets of Japanese strawberries, Fuji apples and Japanese oranges. A customer doesn't need to dress to the nines to go shopping, and service staff shouldn't judge people by the appearance. I'm not rich, but I certainly expect to be treated decently like any other customer.

Had a bad experience, bought a bunch of Yu grade Shine Muscat from Hareou at $98 only to discover that there was mould on the whole stalk and the majority of the grapes. Called them and was told I could only exchange them for a new bunch but by that time already lost the trust to consume their produce. I threw the grapes away for fear of contaminating the other food at home. Was told later by the manager that without the original mouldy fruits I could not get a full refund even when I could produce the original receipt and pictures of the entire product. Was also told by the manager it is not the first case that has happened and I questioned then why was further precautions not made to ensure the quality and safety of their products? Overall extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the customer service rendered.
