★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better soup version for beef noodle/kway teow. Given only 4/5 due to long wait and slightly pricey $5 for small bowl which you can get for $4.5 at food court (Air con). Beef is nicely done and cooked to perfection(not tough) by the hot soup

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste of the soup reminds me of the beef noodle soup of my childhood. Flavourful but not too thick nor salty. The thin kway tiao is also thin and slky smooth. But the beef came only in small pieces at $5 for a small bowl ($7 large) didnt seem reasonable. With only two persons in front of me ordering 4 bowls, it was a good 15mins wait for me. Worth a try for those who miss the beef boodle souo of old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My date really enjoyed it for the excellently executed beef which was tender and flavourful. And the soup which was pure and pristine. Even though service was understandably slow (one man show), still great.
I found it decent. But for the price I'd prefer to have a larger quantity of meat.

Opting for something less oily instead of the usual fried noodles and barbecue from other stalls
Beef slices were too overdone this time to our liking
Chili sauce this time had a bitter aftertaste
It tasted strange
Not the usual refreshing spicy and sour taste when we dip our beef slices

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every trip to lagoon food centre, I leave very happy. The beef and the broth is so good. The accompanying chili dip is special and provides a nice tang when dipping the beef slices. Good to the last slurp.
