Ordered lotus and pork soup. Thick and savoury. You can ask for second serving I.e refill for the soup. However, rest of the dishes such as coke chicken wing, spinach egg vegetable and fried tomato egg are normal and nothing special. The staff are helpful and their service is good.

β β β β β Nice soup restaurant which also has delicious cooked dishes and dim sum. The one to one offers and specials are also good value for money. Food is hot and tasty and service is prompt and good. Seatings are comfortable and not too close together. This mall has ample parking and also close to the rail.

β β β β β Humble beginnings from food courts to a proper restaurant. While the double boiled soups still are the main attraction (catch those big metal pots), this eatery is also a bit of a zhi char serving a good range of home cooked style dishes. Quite the comfort food if you ask me... ?
The soup/food quality is consistent and reasonably priced. I really liked the 'Buddha jumped over the wall' soup. The soup is yummilicious and they certainly don't stinch on the ingredients (eg dried scallops, abalone slices, fish maw). The other dish are pretty decent too, especially the poached spinach with salted egg. Quite delectable with its sweetness and saltish after tastes combining well with the slightly bitter spinach. The spring chicken is another good one... The chicken is not leathery dry at all. Just plain succulent n juicy... Brilliant stuff... Even my 2 fussy aunts love it here... Whew! βΊοΈ??

β β β β β If u are a soup person, this is right up your alley. Ordered the 2 person set and it tasted so fantastic! Not say super cheap (~$50+), but very worth it nonetheless. The flavours are so intense my soul is full. Can easily understand why the place is packed full during peak hours. Most customer base is families and parents - ambience brightly lit and the place smells nice, service is good (can add soup), and big space for customers

β β β β β Great soup! The dishes are quite common menu. Each of the dishes are of reasonably good standard. I like the brinjal best, was not too soft and cooked just nice. The chicken was a little too rich with the sauce. There is free top up of soup. This meal cost $90plus. If the menu had more selection and the portion a little bigger, this is easily 4 stars for me.

β β β β β The soup is good and low fat. I like the fact that they try to flavour it by natural ingredients and not msg. I donβt recommend the pumpkin rice prefer the normal rice because there is not pumpkin inside but the taste of seafood.. vegetables are normal and a bit pricey compared to other restaurants. Healthy alternative when you feel a bit sick and donβt want to cook??

β β β β β Lao Huo Tang is a good restaurant to dine with family as they have a wide variety of comfort food on the menu that people of all ages would love! They recently launched a series of plant based dishes and we decided to give it a try. Omni luncheon meat fried rice was fragrant, tasty and not oily. The unlimeat hor fun(meat-free) was well cooked with the wok he taste and goes well with the egg gravy. Both the luncheon meat and the beef taste similar like the normal meat. Not only is it tasty, filling to the tummy, itβs is also a good options for people who want to have a healthier meal as plant based diet are not only rich in protein, high in fibre and good for digestion. I would definitely pick this over normal fried rice and hor fun.
