Overpriced and food quality average. Clarified with the seller and confirmed a plate of chicken rice was $10.30. The portioning was similar to $3.50 compared to my neighboorhood stall. Pls beware.

Chicken with less fat, healthier to eat. Priced on the higher side comparing similar food. Option will much smaller since is a Kampong chicken. I like the ginger and chilli sauces. Very good mix with chicken.

Minimum order is $4 for this chicken rice in a coffeeshop. I hope the boss will consider my feedback and provide more meat for the customers in the future.

Located at the ever busy Lorong 17 of Geylang Road, this stall is known for its bean sprouts, which are crunchy and delectable (so good I ate $10 worth on the same day). The chicken is of the kampung variety and is on the lean side. Interestingly, they also sell braised pork trotters, which will be for dinner and the subject of another review.

Drowning Chicken: I am looking for a nice place to have lunch with my daughter... hopefully introduced to her the wonderful taste of a true authentic Hainanese Chicken rice. The best is still the one that cooked by my mother. But she has not been cooking for a long time as she aged. Anyway, the place was crowded and the queue was quite long even though it is after lunch time. But I noticed that movement of the queue is pretty quick and as typical well trained and patience Singaporean, I joined the line. I agreed with some of the comments that the staff was friendly however, so friendly till the extend of allowing others patrons to cut the queue before me... I just kept my compose. I ordered a set meal for 2, Chicken Feet aka adidas (by the Filipinos) and Chicken Floss Cold bean curd (tofu) When I collected my food, everything looks alright except the way the chicken was drowned in the sauce and the chicken was cut a little too tiny. The sauce literally stood out too prominently, I just wondered how the chicken really tasted. There is no bean sprout accept you have to order them. The rice wasn't up to standard as the chicken fragrance was vague and rice a little too dry. If we use a typical Hainanese Chicken Rice as the benchmark, they failed miserably. The consolation of our meal was the tofu was tasty and chicken feet pleasurable to chew. Most of all, my daughter enjoyed our time together, which is really the main essence of a meal. The price is slightly on the steep side and therefore, the search and venture continues...

Dabaothe food. Delicious kampong chicken albeit small. The Crystal Chicken Feet was done very well, though expensive was worth it. The bean sprouts was tasty. Loved the rice and chilli and ginger and the special sauce to drizzle over the chicken.

Rice was fragrant and of right consistency. Chicken was very tender, even for chicken breast. The sauce that was drizzled over the chicken was a blend of sweet and savoury, with a touch of sesame oil. Ginger scallion and chilli dips were well-balanced and fresh. Overall, most dishes are sinful and well-executed. But not cheap as portion was small and rather stingy.
