Well known place for their Dan gui duck. Always full house at meal times. Worth trying the sambal seafood patai and also their salted egg veg. Serviced oriented business as they even ask you for feedback while making a bill. Staff also provide extra herbal duck sauce upon request with no extra charge. Have option to sign up for 1 year membership that comes with a whole duck, 2 x $50 voucher and 20% for your birthday. That gives you more than 100% savings. Can use citibank card for additional voucher (T & C applies). Cost will be from average to slightly costly as 1/4 duck, seafood patai, salted egg veg and 3 x rice almost $100. But still a place to dine whenever I think of herbal duck.

A perennial favourite of me and my family. Today being New Year’s Eve, was worried everywhere would be crowded. So came at 5.30pm for an early dinner to beat the crowd. Fortunately got a table (for 2) immediately. Ordered our all time favourite Angelica duck and baby Kai lan with salted fish and lime. The Angelica-flavoured duck is always our favourite. Just biting into the crispy skin infused with the Angelica flavours give us a high ? We also like the deep fried cod fish but didn’t order it today. The skin and outer layer of the flesh is fried to crispy and the meat is fresh. DianXiaoEr is still consistent with the flavours of its duck after all these years. Something not easy to achieve and really admirable. Tried the seasonal Roasted Iberico char Siew. It was not bad but nothing fantastic. Some pieces were abit hard at the roasted part. Not exactly melt in the mouth either. I’ve definitely had better char siew especially in KL. The seasonal items are sometimes hit and miss. We would usually stick to the few staple signature items - our comfort food.

All the food is delicious! Staff very kind and good service. Environment clean and tidy. Very Recommend for dinner here. Must come with family during weekend.

Came here for a simple lunch for 2 pax on a weekend. Ordered their famous duck and was very satisfied. A quarter duck serving just nice for 2 with noodles and one other small dish. Service was good when staff volunteered to help us apportioned the noodles to two servings even we were only 2 pax among the very crowded peak lunchtime hours.

I have went to Dian Xiao Er for many years and it has one of the best duck sauce in singapore. Never fails to impress me every time i eat it. The angelica herb roasted duck is recommended for those who are trying for the first time. The rest of the dishes were also nice. The service was decent and food was served very fast in less than 10 minutes even though the shop was slightly crowded but with no queues.

Taste and food quality is up to standard. Crowded during peak hours. Full House and long queue. 8pm onwards will be more relaxing. Not so many people. My All time favorite DUCK ROASTED WITH ANGELICA HERB. The best roasted Duck with Angelica Herb that suit my taste. No one can fight! MUST TRY.
