Went to the counter inside when we first came as that was where the only staff in the shop was, and instead of taking our order, she asked us where we wanted to sit and told us to go to the table and order via the QR code on the table in a rather rude tone. Conflicting instructions since the yellow tag says order at cashier but the staff and QR code is order at table. Actually don’t understand why since we are already at the counter cannot just order and must go back out to our seats to scan the QR code to order?? Tried the signature rice ($10.80) which comes with salt pepper chicken, braised pork rice, toufu, veggie and egg. Tastes average but good to order if you like variety. Also tried the beef noodles soup ($13.80), beef lovers will like it as the soup is robust, beef taste super strong. Noodles were chewy and I liked that it came with some vegetables as well. There were about 6-7 slices of beef, soft and tender probably due to the many strips of fat on each piece. Overall not too bad, can try if you’re around the area and craving for Taiwanese food.

Ordered their food via grab previously and decided to try dining in, and wow, what a difference! Had their signature combo, fried chicken thigh rice as well as braised intestines. The portions are bigger for dining in and you get to enjoy the freshness of the dishes.

Chanced upon this nice cozy place while searching for some hot soup on a rainy night. Tried a variety of items and everything was so good and had authentic flavours! Must order items: - Beef noodles soup - Soya bean noodles - Fried boneless chicken leg - Salt & pepper chicken - Railway bento set (Not many photos, as we couldn't wait to dig in!) The special XO chilli oil is great for soup items or just to dip your chicken in. For those who want a little more spice, be sure to ask for a special chilli powder. Met the owner, Fiona, who is an absolute start! Her warmth and hospitality was amazing!! Will definitely be back for authentic Taiwanese food. Kudos to Parker who was patient while we were trying to decide what to eat from such a great menu!!

This place has seen better days. Located in a rather isolated part north of Clementi/Faber Crest, Lee offers both indoors and outdoors seating. Place is quiet on a weekend with pockets of couple or small families. What to eat? The beef noodles is nice but price is rather high for its rather small portion. The braised minced meat rice The salted chicken is alright Nothing to rave about but reasonable fare.

This place isn't just authentic, but the food sizes were pretty generous too. I ordered a railway bento and yet the cutlet practically covered(?) the entire plate, and there were still other condiments underneath. It wasn't cheap, but it was overall a satisfying meal and one that made me very pleased.

Summary: Good Taiwanese food, decent pricing, but bad service from one Chinese lady there. Food ordered: Braised pork rice, beef noodles, pork cutlet, salt & pepper chicken, pan fried dumplings. There's also 5 bottles of Stella/Hoegarden/Heineken for $32. The taste is slightly above average, with our personal favourite being the beef noodles. The broth gives you a shiok feeling, and beef is tender with a generous portion. The noodles are hand-made with an amazing chewy texture and taste authentic to when I had it in Taiwan. The side dishes like the deep fried pork and chicken were well seasoned and very crispy, and the dumplings were very juicy with a good amount of filling. If you can look past the frankly horrible service from the one Chinese lady, then you should definitely come here. Cozy restaurant with good tasting Taiwanese food that doesn't break the bank. Highly recommended.

Great authentic food, our usual go-places for Taiwanese cuisine. Their 鹹水雞 is new in the menu and tastes good (but lacking the alcohol taste as compared to the night markets in Taiwan). We always go for their two mains here, and also 雞排, which can never go wrong. Missing star is due to the food service speed.
