β β β β β On 1 May 2020 at 330pm.I buy this Mee Sua at Shilin shop at Buona Vista mrt. It is disappointing. Trace of chicken n veg, I can't taste any chicken at all . It is 6/10 fill only. Mee Sua is so dilute but price is the same. I see 2 small little oysters in the watery mee suan.
Standard has dropped tremendously. It is not worth the price paying for low quality food.

β β β β β The staff were really friendly and helpful. Even though I was uncertain about the food options, they was patient and recommended their signature fried chicken. Despite being busy, the chicken was only deep fried upon order, sprinkled generously with seasoning powders, cut into bite sized pieces and eaten with a skewer. While the presentation and the store front was nothing spectacular, the pipping hot chicken was amazing. Will definitely be back.

β β β β β Note: this is a tentative review of their food practices, and not of the food per se. I walked by one evening to see one of their staff carefully sweeping what looks like some orange powder off the countertop and into a small dustpan. It's strange, and I'm wondering why. Is that how they're supposed to clean the counter? It just seems so odd, the way the guy was doing it, as if he were trying to get every last bit of that stuff. Couldn't he simply wipe things down and then wash the cloth and be done with it? After he's done, he dumps the powder, seemingly into something near his feet, below the counter. I'm not so sure what that is.
After this, I see him finally wiping things down with a cloth. I don't know what this means, and I can't say that they're doing anything wrong, except to say that as an observer, it just looks weird. So take this for what it is: a report of what I saw. You make your own decisions.
