Life Dental Surgery - 726 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6

DO NOT go to this clinic for dental purposes. The service is the worst i ever seen. The chubby looking malay lady wearing a hijab i suppose is the receptionist, has a very bad attitude. This lady scolded me when i asked a question politely on the phone, my daughter went there for braces appointment one day and she got scolded badly for being 15 minutes late due to school, who gives her the right to scold my daughter? My daughter is polite enough to apologise and always giving in when she goes for her appointment despite this lady's attitude to her, disregarding my daughter. On regular days she would be rude to my daughter calling her "eh" and not properly caling her name when asking her to pay up. My daughter and i are customers, i do not think this malay woman deserve the rights to boss around and be rude to custmers, learn to respect customers. This is honestly the worst service i ever experience, service is the frontline of the whole image of this dental clinic, i would not recommend anyone to go there.

Dr Chia is a nice dentist. I'm a person who scared of tooth extraction. During the extraction process,he reassured me and talked to me gently...finally, my tooth was out with a little pain ? thanks Dr Chia !

Went for a wisdom tooth extraction. Dentist was super proficient, quick and the whole process was generally painless. Fees are affordable even for a student

Shouldn't be affected by the 1 star review, Dr. Chia is a good dentist with helpful and kind assistants. He is fast and efficient and the prices here are better compared to other dental places I've been to. He is also very kind and assuring, will always ask if you are ok and will always give you information and reconfirming if you would like to continue with the procedure.

The dentist is really nice, and the price is good. My cousins and I all did our braces here and we enjoyed our session with the dentist. The assistant has been changing, some were very kind and I think one of them was a bit harsher but I don't really care cause what matters most is the service of the dentist.

Letter of Complain I am writing in to express my dissatisfaction with the Malay lady customer service at Life Dental Surgery on 28 Nov 2020. I walk into Life Dental Surgery with a very urgent tooth pain. Before i done explain to the Malay customer service, she ask me weather i have appt and i mention no. she immediately told me off by saying " Don't have appt can go with a very Unhappy face" i very surprise and not pleased with her unprofessional customer service. How could she do this to walk in customer even if they could not take walk in at lease the very best she could explain nicely to me. Hope the Management Of Life Dental Surgery will seriously look into this matter and took action on the Malay lady that wearing the hijab.

Dr chia is an excellent dentist who takes utmost care of his patients. I'm glad I went to consult him for my frequent ulcer problems due to sharp teeth. I had initially heard that a teeth guard would be required but after detailed examination, Dr chia informed me that it was due to the sharp edges of the teeth behind the initial tooth I thought was the culprit and proceeded to perform painless filing of the sharp edges. The ulcer healed within 2 days due to the absence of further trauma. And I didn't need to waste unnecessary money making a custom guard. Thank you and God bless! (rare gem of an experienced dentist)

Dr Chia is an ethical and gentle dentist. I remember when I told him that I wanted to wear braces for cosmetic purposes but he said that my teeth were fine and asked me to consider carefully as it is a long term commitment. Also, after I took off my braces, I wanted to do whitening but he did not encourage it too. I am sure some dentists would not turn down patients’ requests for dental services since dental treatment are expensive and can generate a lot of profit. He is also very gentle when I go to him for scaling and polishing and braces appointment. Very polite dentist too!
