Dr Melvyn is seriously one of the most caring and patient GP I've been to. He will truly take the time to psychoeducate you on your illness and medication, and remind you that reviews are free. I would highly recommend this clinic just for his excellent service.

Dr Tan have been my doctor seen I was a teenager . He is patience , understanding and really cares about his patient . His staff nurse are also very professional . His clinic is clean and new . Thank you for taking care of me when I am sick .

Doctors don't really leave an impression because we generally don't want to see them, and the ones that do are usually the terrible ones. But Dr Melvyn is such a fantastic doctor - the best I've come across - that I actively recommend him to my colleagues. The patient-doctor dynamic is one fraught with information asymmetry: there's just too much that you don't know, and even if you wanted to know, you don't know where to begin asking. Dr. Melvyn keeps chatting you up, telling you what happened, telling you possible origins, telling you associations, how to take care, the follow-up actions. He does it all with a friendly excitement. He sometimes digresses to talk about adjacent things, which makes you feel very comfortable, knowing that this doctor is someone who's willing to connect. Once he referred me to a specialist and called me weeks later to check-in on me. He really cares. When I'm with Dr. Melvyn, I feel so bold to ask anything, and no question really seems stupid, and as a patient, you feel like you've understood your ailment a lot more. I can't say the same for the other doctors here. But understand that since he communicates, the waiting time can be long. Give the clinic a call and book an appointment in advance. This will save you a lot of waiting time.

Since i was 14 Yrs old Dr Melvyn Tan is our friendly Dr in Amk. Now i have 4 kids and we still on going to his clinic for check up. ?

Doctor and staff treat patient nicely. Only concirn is even clinic start at 8.30 or 9 depend on the day, doctor will arrive around 9.30. So patients have to cope that delay.

Dr Melvyn has always been professional and caring. Attentive and concerned towards a patients condition.

Was allergic to a medicine given by tele consultation and wanted to take a jab at AMK family clinic. Waited for the doctor to come, however the doctor did not even attend to me and informed the nurse to tell me to go directly to A&E. He or she did not even try to analyse my condition, I would advise not going for this clinic.

Dr Melvyn is very professional and caring. He was assuring and very detailed in treating my mum. His team is also very polite and caring to my mum during registration and throughout the consultation process. Highly recommended.
